I can't live without a kitchen sponge. I've tried them all over the past several decades and I always come back to Scotch-Brite. Or I should say, I rarely try another, because to do so is a waste of money and a huge disappointment in taking care of the sink-loads. Scotch-Brite holds up, lasts long and is top quality. It gets the job done, period, and that's all I care about. I don't want to spend any more time with dirty dishes than I need to. Scotch-Brite gets me out of the kitchen fast -- and that's reason enough to stick with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heavy duty sponges really work well. They clean the dishes and pots, including the gunk that sometimes gets stuck, like egg residue from breakfast. But without scratches. Plus once rinsed, the food residue doesn't stick to the sponge. I usually change sponges on teh first of the month and they (usually) last the entire month. I then use them for cleaning other things until they wear out. I can toss them in the washing machine and dryer and they still hold up. The only drawback is that the knives sometimes will cut a corner or two from the sponge. Once that happens, the sponge doesn't hold up. But otherwise, it is the only sponge I buy.

First, let me say that I abhor steel wool pads, but thought those were the only things that would get burned-on food off my pots and pans. Then came the advent of non-stick cookware (which actually isn't). I was faced with two choices -- scratch the non-stick surface or just leave the stuck food on the pot. When I found the heavy-duty Scotch Brite pads, I discovered it really was possible to have the scrubbing ability of steel wool, without the stinky, yucky mess that destroyed my pots and pans. I've been using them ever since!

I always have as Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge on my sink. I use it for washing dishes and especially for tough dried-on or burned-on residue on pots and pans. The "regular" sponge on the flip side of the scrubber makes it a great "two for one" sponge.

I've been using Scotch-Brite sponges forever but decided to try another brand recently and I was sooo disappointed! I went right out and bought the Scotch-Brite ones and swore I'd never switch again. I don't know what I was thinking. These are the best at gently scrubbing my dishes clean, cleaning spots on my floor and carpet and just for all around general use. I learned not to mess with success and to stick with the best.

These are great srub/sponges that I use every day for dishes, countertops sinks, tub, everything around the house! The scrub side removes everything from coffe stains to burnt on food. The sponge side is terrific for more delicate surfaces like porcelain cups and stainless steel.

I LOVE YOUR HEAVY DUTY SCRUB SPONGE! I HAVE TRIED OTHER SCRUB SPONGES, AND THEY BARLEY LAST A MONTH. YOUR SCRUB SPONGES LAST ME UP TO 6 MONTHS! I DON'T KNOW ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE, BUT I WOULD RATHER PAY ALITTLE MORE FOR SOMETHING AND HAVE IT LAST ME LONGER THAN TO CHEAP OUT AND ONLY HAVE IT LAST A FRACTION OF THE TIME. THANKS 3M FOR MAKING QUALITY PRODUCTS THAT DON'T EVEN COMPARE TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE PRODUCTS THAT MOST STORES OFFER!

I've been buying these 3M sponges for 15 years. I could tell immediately when I opened a new package that the sponge was a LOT thinner in my hand. They don't work as well (less sponge to soak up liquid) and the green layer separates from the sponge at the corners. Junk product now. I'm not buying anymore 3M anything.

I recently was helping a friend do some cleaning at her house. Her son has the ability to turn a house upside down in a matter of minutes. I focused on the difficult cleaning jobs such as heavy burnt grease,gunk,etc. on pots,pans,appliances,etc. I also worked on sticky messes, such as gum, candle wax and glue. At the end of the day of cleaning I had went thru 2 Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges and was amazed to find how well they had worked and that they could still be used again. Scotch-Brite products in my opinion are durable, affordable,safe,and do a great job at cleaning up a variety of different surfaces and items. Thank You, Sincerely Bricks

I use all of Scoth-Brite products. I loved them up until recently. I have a problem with them turning color and looking very dirty after one use. I tried cleaning them every way I know how to no avail. Can you help me. I would greatly appreciate it. P.S. They clean beautifully.
