The heavy duty scrub sponge by Scotch Brite is an excellent choice for dried stuckon foods. It is gentle to the hands yet cleans well from pans, skillets and that ugly spill in the bottom of the oven. A fruit pie bubbled over and the sticky juicy had stuck and burned on the oven bottom and the grates, but my Scotch Brite heavy duty sponge made cleanup a breeze.

I also use the Scotch Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges, which are ideal for some cookware, but don't cut the mustard for heavy-duty pan cleanup jobs from a roasted turkey or oven-barbecued ribs. The Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Sponges pick up where the other ones leave off, making clean-up jobs a breeze. I haven't found anything else that performs as well as this product. My adult daughter, who has rheumatoid arthritis & no dishwasher to assist her, always has sparkling clean pots and pans thanks to only minimal effort with these heavy-duty sponges.

Though I have used this product in the past, I never reviewed it. I also RARELY ever used the green scrubbing side of the sponge. I have only ever used the sponge itself and I use it with Bar Keepers Friend to either clean/polish my stainless steel double sink, or to clean my stainless steel pots. I have also used the sponge, again with Bar Keepers Friend on an old porcelain sink.

I love these sponges they work on anything you need to clean. they last and hold up great with all my daily use. they are a vital part of my kitchen. Dish rags that are left by others not rinse out start to smell sour real quick these sponges are easy to rinse out after each use so no more sour smells around my sink.

But I call Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges, my second hands, because when I use them I don't have to scrub as hard and they get the job done with a lot more easy.

I just love this product, always buy it for washing my dishes.... it is long lasting and easy to handle. The color reminds me of sringtime. Good value for the money. ps my husband complains if I buy any other brand so I to avoid conflict I buy this sponge. Marjorie

The sponges clean non-coated cookware, grill racks and oven racks to a shine. I use the sponge in the kitchen and my husband uses the sponge in the outside areas such as the tools and cleaning the surfaces of the concrete. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

I use scotch brite heavy duty cleaning sponges for all my cleaning jobs. I use them for the toilet,tub and sinks. I use them in and on my cars. I use them for dishes,pots and pans. I use them for spills. They work for anything that needs cleaning. I will never switch.One side scrubs without damaging and the other wipes up. They are excellent!

This heavy duty scrub sponge worked great on scrubbing up a roasting pan with last night's stuck food. The scrubber side did not leave any scratches on my pan and the soft sponge side was great for cleaning my other dishes. I would definitely recommend giving this product a try. I only used it on my dishes, but I'm sure it could be used for multiple items that need a good cleaning.

I have been buying Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges for years. I always bought the 6 pack because it was more economical. They were always so much better and lasted so much longer than the cheap kind. UNTIL NOW . . . . . I recently bought a new package and was amazed at 1) how cheaply they are now made, nothing like the old ones and 2) how expensive for an inferior product. I won't be purchasing them again. I emailed them about the sponges, and shared my total disgust with them. You may as well save your money and buy the cheaply made ones. These feel weird, not soft like the old ones and the scrubber strip is stiff and unyielding. NOT worth the money anymore. It's too bad, they were the best at one time.
