Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty sponges are the only ones we use at our house! They last forever & really do the job on difficult messes. We wouldn't use anything else. We've tried store and cheaper brands, but they don't last as long as Scotch-Brite. Your product coupons help tremendously. Keep up the good work!

Making my life easier is what I'm looking for every day! Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge wins every time I am challenged by the messes that are left for me. Funny...know one seems to claim them. As a wife, mother of 5, grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 1 I do a lot of cooking and cleaning. I love my scotch brite heavy duty sponges because it makes it faster and easier for me to clean up all those large messes and gives me more time to spend with my family. I have am a long time user of the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite scrub sponge, yellow sponge with green scouring pad. I have always been very happy with this product. The Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge has always "stepped up to the plate," (pun intended!), and performed very well, no matter what the task. In the past year, however, I have noticed that the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge dries completely overnight. This does not affect the performance in any way, shape or form. What I do find, however, is that after several, 4 or 5, occasions in which the sponge has dried out that the sponge develops a horrible odor and must be thrown away. I have tried multiple things to remedy this, including rinsing the sponge in bleach prior to putting it up for the day, and nothing seems to cure this problem. The odor returns as soon as the sponge is moistened again. The only remedy I have found is to rinse the sponge in something prior to using it for the first time each day. It is at that point that I can then continue to use the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge as normal, which for me is to use it for EVERYTHING! I love this sponge and will continue to use it. The only change that would be great if you could do it, would be to add something that would fight the odor that occurs when the sponge dries out. Other than that, the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge ROCKS!! It is the best scrub sponge out there! It is tough and lasts long, even with daily use.

I love the heavy duty scrubbers. I feel like Scotch-Brite knows more about cleaning than any other company. All the products are good, but the heavy duty cleaning sponge works great. I like to scrub my cookware on the outside and this sponge does the job. It is also great for cleaning up the grill, oven and stovetop.

These sponges are fantastic. With the use of any powder or liquid cleaning agent these sponges go deep into baked on stains and wipe them away. They are strong but not damaging to my fine cookware. I've used them for a long time and they've never failed me. The old ones are used for 'germy' areas, floors and such and the cookware get the new ones.

It's sad to see a really great product get ruined (or shrinkflated). Both the sponge side and the rough side now only last about a quarter of the time it used to, and old sponges that I wisely (really accidentally) saved prove that. I've switched back to using those old, saved one along with some cleansing powder to get good performance for whatever life is left in them. I'll need to look elsewhere now for something capable of cleaning more than four stainless steel pans : (

I've been buying 9 ct. or 24 ct. Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges for decades. They have always worked perfectly for dishes and the scour pad side for pans. At the end of each week, it gets tossed {even though it looks like it has a lot of life left} and a new one comes out. Up until recently, I would have given this product a 10+ without a thought. However, I am now on my 2nd pkg. and every sponge practically disintegrates by the 2nd use. 1st pkg. - I thought it was a fluke since they have always been A+ and bought another pkg.. That's when I realized what is really happening. It's truly a shame Scotch Bright decided to cheapen their product & risk their reputation. What once was a 5 star doesn't deserve a -1. Little sponge pcs. fall off & and need to be scooped out of sink every use. Some small pcs. have escaped down the drain even with a stopper in it. I don't plan on taking the chance of pipes eventually being clogged with yellow sponge. Sadly, I won't be buying anymore. I was not exaggerating saying I've been buying them for decades. Bought 1st time at age 21 when I got married and I just turned 64. That's a lot of loyalty years. Very disappointed they jumped on the "lets cheapen our product & charge more" band wagon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Dad was glad when I got this free sample in the mail. He already knew these were good. My Mom was the one who got to use it while washing dishes, and she said it worked well. And she would know; she's washed a lot of dishes over the years!

I have tried numerous pads cleaning my house but always come back to Scotch Heavy Duty scrub pads. Especially for my bath tub and general bathroom area - these pads can hold up to the tough task - where other scrub pads fall apart or disappear before the job is done. Scotch pads are my try and true cleaning pad and I am always pleased with the results. Scotch Heavy duty pads will always be the product we use in my house.
