Since it's the heavy duty version, I decided to really put it to the test and refinish one of my cast iron pans with it. I was very impressed with how well the Scotch-Brite side held up. It took all three pads in the pack and quite a bit of elbow grease, but it got the job done to my liking!

I have used Scotch-Brite since I was a kid. I have tried other brands but none of them clean as well and usually break apart. When I am done with the dishes I put the sponge in the dishwasher to clean it as well and it comes out like new. Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty sponge helps me get even stuck on food with very little effort. Thanks :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used these sponges for a few weeks now and they work amazing. I have used them on so many pots and pans and they clean everything. The green abrasive side cleans cakes on food with ease but it doesn't scratch. It works great to clean my frying pans and skillets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Sponge, it has the soft side for my more delicate dishes and appliances and a rougher side for all the hard to clean things that get food and grime stuck on them. The price of these sponges is great and they last for a really long time before you have to buy a new one. An all around great product to have on hand!

Don't mess around wasting time and money. Scotch Brite offers the choice of sizes, pleasing colors, feels right, does an excellent job, and most of all will not seperate and come apart until completely worn out and ready to be replaced with the next Scotch Brite scrub sponge. Don't peel vegetables-heavy duty scrub sponge is excellent for scrubbing vegetables rather than peeling away the nutrients.

I'm not sure how ling ago you changed the shape from a rectangular shape to an "s" shape, but I hate it. I've been searching for a source for the old sponge, but I guess you stopped making them. I tried store brand standard shaped sponges, but the materials are inferior. The shape makes whatever I'm doing more difficult. I think someone really dropped the ball here. IF a new shape was inevitable, you curved it in the opposite direction that is intuitive to me and my uses. There is a reason every other sponge has the traditional rectangular shape. Do you still offer the straight sided version or is it gone forever?

An awesome product,i have never used any thing else for washing my dishes and cleaning my counter tops and also to keep my kitchen sink clean & white, and my stainless steel pans, spot free & shiny.They also last long(several months).So overall a great product!

Use this sponge to clean out the bottom of the oven when spills occur. It cleans them without having to use oven cleaner which leaves white residue. When the sponge gets too old I use it to clean the doggy door which gets all grungy with oil and fur from the dogs.

These sponges are great for many things. One is always by my sink for wiping dishes, cleaning the counter, and many other things. It works great on everything. Every couple of days, I throw it in the dishwasher with the dishes to clean it. It lasts for a really long time. Great value for a great product!

I can always count on Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Sponges to keep on producing good results long after I would have had to throw out competitive brands. The sponges are well worth the difference in cost at the time of initial purchase. Viva La Scotch Brite!!!!
