in regards to the heavy duty sponges I prefer to use the scrubber side, it is amazing how quickly I can get my dishes, pots and pans and even the stovetop clean with out using too much "elbow grease"! I will always buy this product to do the never ending dishes. The teen in the house also thinks it does a very good job too!

AS I get on in years,(74) I tend to forget that I have something cooking and get wrapped up with something else. More than once I have char-broiled a pot and have had the heavy duty Scotch-brite scrubber save the day---and the pot!!! thank you Scotch-brite!

The Heavy Duty Scotch-Brite dish sponges hold up fairly well to lots of scrubbing and don't start to fall apart for a while. My problem with them is that they take on an odor after using for a short while here in the south. i have to frequently toss it into the laundry with bleach and baking soda to take the odor out. however it does come back really soon too. not sure what can be done about that. i've switched to using foam scrub sponges because i dont have that problem with them. however they don't last anywhere near as long as the Scotch-Brites do.

They clean the dishes and pots, including the gunk that sometimes gets stuck, like egg residue from breakfast. But without scratches. Plus once rinsed, the food residue doesn't stick to the sponge. I usually change sponges on teh first of the month and they (usually) last the entire month. I then use them for cleaning other things until they wear out. I can toss them in the washing machine and dryer and they still hold up. The only drawback is that the knives sometimes will cut a corner or two from the sponge. Once that happens, the sponge doesn't hold up. But otherwise, it is the only sponge I buy.

Any time I have a hard job to clean baked on food, or just general house work. I can always seem to count on this sponge. My husband works in a rock quarry and comes home very messy rock dust, diesel fuel or just grease this helps out tremendously Thanks for a great product.

I will not use any other kind of sponge for washing dishes. With Scotch Brite heavy duty sponges, the sponge easily cleans any kind of cooked on mess with little effort from you! Yet, dishes are never scratched. If you want your sponge to do the work and not you when you're washing dishes, this IS the sponge for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live these sponges! They are soft but rough enough to remove any tough grease or food stains from a pan. I also love cleaning my counters and stove with them as well. They don’t scratch the metal or glass which is great.

They are the best ,I put them in the dishwasher and clean them at least once a week and they come out great, they really last long also I cant tell you how long I've had this last sponge. I scrub the stove top, counter, kitchen table you name it and they keep on cleaning I would recommend this sponge to everyone.

We always buy several of these at a time. Great for doing dishes or other scrubbing tasks. They are very durable and last a long time. We just pop them in the dishwasher basket and they come out perfectly clean and sanitized. Recommend these for many everyday kitchen duties.

I've been using the Scotch Brite Heavy Duty scrub sponge to clean my kitchen for as long as I can remember. Yeah, I've tried the store brands but the sponge doesn't absorb as well and the scrubber isn't as tough or durable. Your sponge is the true original and truly the best!
