First, let me say that I abhor steel wool pads, but thought those were the only things that would get burned-on food off my pots and pans. Then came the advent of non-stick cookware (which actually isn't). I was faced with two choices -- scratch the non-stick surface or just leave the stuck food on the pot. When I found the heavy-duty Scotch Brite pads, I discovered it really was possible to have the scrubbing ability of steel wool, without the stinky, yucky mess that destroyed my pots and pans. I've been using them ever since!

I have used Scotch Brite Heavy Duty scrub pads as long as I can remember. My Mother before me, used them so I grew up knowing that if I had a job that needed a good scrubbing, I could count on the Scotch Brite pad. Whether it's scrubbing dried food off a dish in the kitchen, the stovetop after a boil-over or BBQ sauce off the lawn chairs, I can always count on the pad. When it's down to almost nothing left, I can use it to scrub the floor of black marks! It washes beautifully so it can be used again and again. I would be lost without my Scotch Brite Scrub Pad in the kitchen, bathroom, utility room and patio! For an inexpensive cleaning solution, without harmful, smelling cleansers, it's the best!

I have tried nearly every kitchen sponge on the market, and have found the Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponges to be the best value for the money. Though they may cost a bit more than cheaper brands, they definitely hold up better and last longer. And, they don't scratch my non-stick pans.

I am very paticular with the products I use especially when it comes to cleaning my dishes or wiping down counter tops. I am a military brat whos father used to do the white glove inspection, thus why I now have OCD...Scotch bright Heavy Duty is the ONLY sponge I will use that lasts and is durable enough for my cleaning needs.

This is the best sponge out there for the money. This is a sturdy sponge that doesn't fall apart with heavy duty jobs. This sponge has both a gentle side and a scrubbing side, so it is very versatile. I use this sponge for washing every day dishes, whether it be for utensils & glasses or pots & pans. I use this for cleaning my glass stove top without scratching it. I buy the multi-pack, because I use it for other jobs as well. I use it in the bathroom for sinks, tubs, shower and toilet. I also use it to clean our cockatoo bird cage. It is quite large and needs monthly cleaning. This sponge works well with scrubbing off the waste on the bottom of the cage. Overall this is a quality sponge that is useful for any cleaning situation.

The heavy duty scrub sponge is exactly what it says it is. I use this sponge for all my tough scrubbing such as in the kitchen scrubbing pots,pans,griddle,stove (inside and out),tables, counters, sinks and microwave oven. I use it in the bathroom scrubbing sinks and tub. It can also be used to clean up spills, stains and remove dirt, grease and grime. This is a very useful product.

I have am a long time user of the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite scrub sponge, yellow sponge with green scouring pad. I have always been very happy with this product. The Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge has always "stepped up to the plate," (pun intended!), and performed very well, no matter what the task. In the past year, however, I have noticed that the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge dries completely overnight. This does not affect the performance in any way, shape or form. What I do find, however, is that after several, 4 or 5, occasions in which the sponge has dried out that the sponge develops a horrible odor and must be thrown away. I have tried multiple things to remedy this, including rinsing the sponge in bleach prior to putting it up for the day, and nothing seems to cure this problem. The odor returns as soon as the sponge is moistened again. The only remedy I have found is to rinse the sponge in something prior to using it for the first time each day. It is at that point that I can then continue to use the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge as normal, which for me is to use it for EVERYTHING! I love this sponge and will continue to use it. The only change that would be great if you could do it, would be to add something that would fight the odor that occurs when the sponge dries out. Other than that, the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge ROCKS!! It is the best scrub sponge out there! It is tough and lasts long, even with daily use.

I used to buy this product in the 21-item pack it was so good. These really WERE great sponges. Emphasis on WERE. In my recent 21-item package everyone of these sponges everyone of the sponges has disintegrated in 1-2 days of mild use. Something has changed in the fabrication process to result in an inferior product.

Why has Scotch Brite messed with the design of the yellow and green sponges that we love? They're not as thick, but larger in diameter. I find them difficult to hold and squeeze dry. I'm sure the change was motivated by money, but it's left me looking for a new sponge after a lifetime of sharing my kitchen with your product.

I have used this product for years and have always found it to be very useful for all my cleaning needs. The scrubber part has been able to tackle even the worse grime. The shape is small enough to fit in your hand and still get the job done. I would recommended this product highly.
