Not hot but good flavor

This barely has any Hatch Chile flavor. The second ingredient is sugar and you can tell right away. Hatch chile is the 5th listed ingredient and supposedly smoked, which I can't detect. I was excited to try this product, but as usual Member's Mark depends on excessive salt and sugar. The salt is 6% of the DVA for 1/4 tsp of the seasoning. It will cost less for me to smoke and dehydrate hatch chiles and use my basic seasoning recipe for the filler, even if I need to toss it with liquid smoke and dehydrate in the oven. Spend your $5 on something else.

The taste was good, but doesn't really have a strong hatch chili flavor. Agree with other reviews. Love real hatch chilies! After eating we had stomach problems. Not sure if its an unlisted "natural ingredient" or something else. Autolyzed yeast extract can also cause problems if you have MSG sensitivity.
