[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I have always been more of a real butter person, so, yes, I can believe it's not butter, but that being said it definitely has it's uses. I love the spreadability, and the flavor isn't bad. It came in handy multiple times. It saved new year's eve dinner and most importantly it makes it darn, good steak.

It's creamy and smooth and fairly buttery (or butter-like, at least). ICBINB! says it's made with ‘good oils', presumably because they contain Omega-3s, which are good for brain health. But the finished product is very highly processed, so it's hard to know whether or not it's actually any better for you than real butter. It is lower in calories and has no trans fats or cholesterol, but it does have highly refined oils that may contain Omega-6 fatty acids that could contribute to inflammatory health conditions. I'm not a nutritionist, but from what I understand, the status of ICBINB! as a ‘better for you' swap for real butter is debatable, to say the least. Having said all that, I do think the taste benefits might outweigh the risk for me health-wise. Unfortunately, the controversy doesn't end there. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! is made with palm and palm kernel oils. Palm oil is a notorious ingredient these days because millions of acres of rainforest have been cleared to make room for palm plantations. However, ICBINB!'s parent company, Upfield, claims that 100% of the palm and palm kernels oils used in their products are certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). That's something, and I can only hope this brand's commitment to producing sustainable food products and fair trade practices is genuine and ongoing. Do I recommend this product? Umm…sure. But it's worth doing a bit of research yourself to determine if it's right for you and your family. Its taste and texture really are very good, but some of the brands production practices could leave a bad taste in your mouth.

This one won't go to waste, as others in my family have been using it. I'll keep using the vegan version because I like it a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used ICBINB since I was a kid, it hasn't changed much over the years. It's just as I remember. It has a buttery taste to it and easier to spread than cold butter. A bit healthier than real butter. But I don't like cooking with it and it doesn't melt the same. I would use this for toast so I don't tear it to shreds when buttering it or for a sandwich. Otherwise I'll still to real butter for flavor and taste. Decent overall tho if you're trying to cut calories or want to get away from animal based products.

It's creamy, easily spreadable, and has an amazing flavor without any aftertaste. I really like that its got fewer calories than traditional butter and has added vitamins, plus the American Heart Association seal. Additionally, the container works well, and is a good size for the price, so its a win any way you look at it!

It was my first time trying this “butter” and as a Butter lover I was really surprised! Soooo delicious 🤤 I took it out of the fridge (need it at room temperature) in order to make my cookies and wow very creamy, silky, yummy and delicious… I still can not believe is not butter 😅 so good… looking forward to bake some bread and spread it on it!
