Freeze Shelves are a Disaster
The fridge generally worked great but after about a year, the freezer rails that the ice cube tray and pull out tray sit on became cracked. This quickly caused the tray supports that sit on the rails to crack. LG does not have replacement parts which is extremely frustrating given the age of the fridge and we're now left to have to buy a new fridge which ultimately will not be an LG fridge.

Disappointed
There is something wrong with the bottom door freezer. It doesn't open all the way, as if it is caught on something. I've tried everything the site advised and still no luck. It is not ice build up either. And when I try to get it open I have to yank it, but not too hard so it doesn't break. So I am stuck with a fridge that has a freezer that only opens 1/4 of the way. Big disappointment. Then I had to send away for a filter part change since the new style doesn't accommodate my fridge's style. Inconvenient.

This fridge 1 inch too tall. We had to have our cupboard cut to fit over the fridge. Plug in wire on top instead of bottom also issue.

Worst appliance i ever purchased
Ice maker did not work. Refrigerator temperature did not go below 46 degrees, food spoiled. Freezer temperature did not go below 38 degrees, everything melted or spoiled, except the ice of course because the ice maker did not work.

Slight Flaw (probably insignificant)
Overall, very good refridgerator with only a minor insignificant flaw. That is the upper tray in the freezer does not stay in and always comes out half way such that it interferes with the bottom tray and one cannot load or remove items easily. Minor difficultly but when in a hurry it could be bothersome.

I couldn't pick a suggested review topic. All of them are spot on! I purchased my first LG refrigerator back in 2025. I loved it so much, I got another for my second home. It's quiet, does a great job of cooling & freezing, there's so much more room than my previous fridge, & it stays consistent. The pull-out freezer & double doors above are roomy & easily accessible. In the fridge part, there's no need to move things around because you can see what you have. I'm saving money & energy with these 2 new appliances, which is a wonderful, added bonus. Highly recommend!!
