Amazing Product, absolutely worth the price! Blows away Roku Ultra! One thing, u need a iPhone or iPad to properly set it up. I tried to get a apple id through my Samsung 23 Ultra, could not do it. So I bought the cheapest iPad and it was instant Success. I paired it with a 65inch LG C3 ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!

Had to return as remote wouldnt work

Cons: 1st smart TVs offer the same apps for free, so there is no need to purchase. 2nd I have high-end Bose and Samsung sound bars and the Apple TVs have audio problems where the sound goes out. It happens multiple times throughout the day. It drives me up the wall, and I usually switch to the TV app when I’m watching a new show or Movie. Pros: 1st It brings a simple UI that everyone understands how to navigate. I have my parents-in-law living with me and it is easy for them to understand. 2nd You can have FaceTime show up on the TV. So there is no need for everyone crowding around the phone to see and speak to relatives. If it did not have the FaceTime feature, I would say this is not worth the money. The Facetime feature requires an Iphone to use.

This is hands down the best streaming device for anyone who is invested in the Apple ecosystem. As with all Apple products, it integrates seamlessly into the Apple ecosystem, plus it doubles as a HomeKit hub. The voice remote provides full access to Siri, so not only is it convenient for searching streaming content, but you can also use it to control HomeKit device ("turn on/off the light", "lock the door", etc...). Performance is second to none. It is lightning fast and everything just works. I did not have to program it to my TV. It auto-detected it and could control the volume and power on/off right out of the box. It also automatically detected the best picture setting compatible with the TV. In my case it was Dolby Vision, 4K @ 60hz which is the best Apple TV can do. Apps that were sluggish and buggy on my 2022 Flagship Sony Smart TV run flawless on Apple TV (specifically the Sling TV app). The entire user experience is much better overall. If you want the very best experience available from a streaming device, this is it!

Absolutely hate. Picture quality is horrible. I can't sign into apps that I've already subscribed to. Spent an additional $75 for cords. I must be doing something wrong to hate it so much when everyone else seems to love it but im going back to my smart tv.

after a few months the remote volumn button and mute button stopped working. found out this is xomm9n on the product. Apple replaced the device (not the remote as it is acdevice issue). New bix worked fine for 2 months and same thing happened. went back to my gen2 version.

I decided to get the Apple TV because I heard that the ESPN app had multi-view screens available when using it. Despite owning a few Rokus, I felt the need to upgrade my 75" Roku TV with the Apple TV since the Roku ESPN app doesn't offer this feature. However, I have been disappointed because the multi-view feature has not worked as expected, and I often receive a message telling me to upgrade in order to see all the games in multi-view. Additionally, I find the Apple remote too sensitive and it is often difficult to navigate through the various apps and games.
