I was just looking for a streaming stick that didn’t collect a ton of my data. I was surprised how much better the image quality was compared to my built in “smart” LG TV. And the user experience is much smoother and faster too.

This particular device worked great for a month. I’ve been waiting on Apple for over a month now to address the issues but currently am unable to use the device as intended.

I have a lot of Apple products and am very happy with them. The Apple TV 4K is another great product with super performance and ease of use. My biggest complaint and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the remote. This is without a doubt the crappiest remote design ever. Apple makes things easy to use, but they should take a LONG look at he remote and get rid of the Click-Pad and go with buttons, or sell a separate pad if they feel the need for it. This remote allows for so many accidental entries that it is seriously frustrating. I have even gone as far as to purchase a third party remote just to set this stupid remote to the side. Other than that, it s great, super fast performance, great App selection and the picture quality is astounding. 4 stars because of the remote.

I had been using Roku for years. But recently a software update by Roku resulted in their equipment no longer working, as I had an "HDCP Error." That error, it turns out, was because my TV was too old for their updated software. Roku's tech recommendation? Buy a new TV! Absolutely no help at all. So I decided to try AppleTV instead. It works just fine. Yes, I'm out the cost of the Apple TV device; but I'm not buying a new TV to replace one that's not that old and working fine. You have to download your own apps, but that has not been that big of a deal. And I'm free of Roku!

Got one before price hike took effect they are still great

The picture on tv seemed to be a lot brighter, set up was super easy.

Works great, the remote way better than old Apple TV.

Stopped working after 3 months

Our hotel didn’t have streaming channels so we bought it on vacation. It worked great!
