- 5 out of 5 stars review2/12/2025The specs and real performance of these tires are incredible. 255/35R21/XL 98W Front - 275/35R21/XL 103W Rear. I know My Tesla MYP can outperform 97% of the vehicles on the road. The car can do 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. Most likely your non-Tesla car cannot. I put it to the test on my daily 55 mile commute. The tires have a lot to do with this. The heavy EV and high speed rating are brilliant technology. Fully confident all weather rain/sleet /snow/ice at very high speeds. Hey Michelin Bring back Premium Touch.. love it
High performance tires supercar certified
Premium TouchOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/12/2020I first owned the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3, then my tires wore down, so went to the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+. Now I'm currently using the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4. From my very early and initial impression (under 50 miles), these tires are the best of the group thus far. I found the AS3 and AS3+ were almost identical in tread pattern, driving, comfort with a slightly higher noise level. The AS4 feels like a significant upgrade. Firstly its an entirely new tread pattern from the past 2 models. A variation of sipe thickness and patterns. It looks like it will grip better. Briefly driving on both dry and wet roads, highway and city, it delivered nicely. It already felt great with the AS3 and AS3+, so I'd expect the same with some refin...
The 'Almost' Legend Continues
MancanOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/30/2020I bought these tires for my Honda Civic Si to replace the god awful OEM Goodyears and I was not disappointed. These tires turned my car into a monster. Now I can have a lot of fun driving without losing traction, regardless of if it is raining or not. Rain performance is incredible as it felt like driving in the dry with these tires. The slight increase in noise is well worth the performance.
Amazing
IanOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareLove to read great reviews like this one, Ian! - 5 out of 5 stars review11/3/2021I have purchased two separate sets of All Season 4 Tires for two of my higher performance vehicles. Being Audi's they are AWD and quite heavy, these cars are known for understeer and when pushed hard you can feel the car push. Softer walled tires really feel floaty on the road in aggressive driving. Not only do these tires perform exceptionally well in regards to grip (accelerating and decelerating) their lateral grip is most impressive. These tires allow my cars to handle like they are on rails, regardless of the temperature. Being AA for traction and A for temperature they do exceptionally well when dedicated summer tires become hard and dangerous.
Jack of all trades!?
WillRobTipS4Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/15/2024Things i heard about Michilin tires from tire guys who have handled all different types, said that Michilin has the best overall highest quality and attention to detail. I have only owned my new set of tires for about a week, but they are perfect. Grips amazing, super quiet, smooth, feel sturdy and safe. 2008 Ford Fusion. Not real powerful, but if you keep your gas and oils clean and new theyll run for quite a while. Amsoil in engine, tranny, ps, and coolant. Runs like butter. Mazda 6 frame and suspension, so handles righteously.
All Good
PeteOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/8/2024Great tires on the GR Corolla, I would love to try the CrossClimate2 next. This has been great on the Florida roads, trails and even in the harsh conditions as well. People that are experiencing wear on these tires need to get their alignment checked up before mounting these tires on, my tires still look brand new after getting an alignment during the new installment. Will purchase again unless Michelin man sponsors me with a new set hehe
Amazing tires for GR Corolla
TeamA99EOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review8/4/2021Too many reports not indicating what vehicle the tires are mounted on! What good is such info? I have a new set of 245/4018 going on our 2019 RS 3, which has run 16,698 fast back roads out of a total 23,192 on current Michelin A/S3+ with no issues at all. Will report on the Pilot Sport 4S after some mileage is run at speed.
FEW VEHICLE NAMES!
HotRodOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 2 out of 5 stars review1/14/2025Significantly louder than the HX MXM4's they replaced. Noise starts right at 40mph and gets significantly louder at highway speeds. Likely going to swap them out for another brand as this is the only Michelin tire that fits 245/50/R17. Tire handles great but I just can't deal with the noise.
Very Noisy
Wedd LukeOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/17/2025These tires have wonderful traction and great handling. They perform amazing on my Turbo charged vehicle. And really grip the road. They feel very durable. On a last note. I do find them very noisy on the highway at higher speeds. But they are a more agressive tread so it’s fine. I drive on multiple surfaces including dirt roads, gravel trails, pavement and ice and snow. I would highly recommend these tires.
Great looking tires. Very durable and agressive with amazing handling.
Tonkino2023Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/19/2021Had these on my Golf R AWD for a few month now and with the recent 4" dump of snow I have had the chance to drive these in all conditions. Performance has been outstanding, great dry and wet control, excellent braking and these got me out of my steep driveway where the OEM's left me stuck. Highly recommend these for all season sports car applications as they don't compromise performance.
Phenomenal Tire technology
LanceMOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/18/2024I've got a 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio Convertible with 69k miles. This is my third set of tires. My first were Yokohama's....not a bad tire but in my opinion, they don't compare with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4. I'm on my second full set of 4 Pilot Sports. When these wear out, I'll buy another! They handle extremely well, the ride is wonderful and they lasted about 45,000 before needing to replace. I'd absolutely recommend these for your sports car!
Second Set of 4 - Great Tires!
MistaFrankOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/1/2025I have 2 sets of these tires, for my 1993 Corvette ZR-1 and my 2015 Challenger 392. Excellent grip in all weather conditions that I drive in (I rarely see snow, but frequent heavy rain and temps below summer tire ratings) as well as quiet and comfortable.
Great performance all-season
bbsOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/17/2025This is my third set of new Michelin tires and I absolutely love them! My 18 year old car handles beautifully with them. The way they corner is smooth…there is virtually no noise from them and they “hug” the road. I have yet to drive them in the winter.
Love Them!
Diane48Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/3/2021Upsized to 18" wheels & ride is even a bit softer than the AS3's on the 17" wheels. Steering at low speed is a bit heavy with the larger contact patch than the OE 215's. Good grip cold, much better when warm. Side wall flex is a big improvement in cornering.
Great handling & ride
RicoZOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/18/2025I bought these for my charger scat pack. In a month they had 2 separations on the inside bead of the tire. First there was a vibration this is when we discovered the defect. Huge safety issue!! Then we replaced them. 4k miles another vibration and it was all 4 tires split on the inside of every tire. This could have caused a crash or even death for myself and my family!! Do Not buy!!!
UNSAFE

I was used to buying a new set of Pilot Sport 4S for the rear every 10-12k miles, which is to be expected, but not welcomed on that setup. I switch to 20” square rims front and aft, and also switched to Pilot Sport AS 4’s ,245/45/ZR20 99Y, and couldn’t be happier. Now that I can rotate tires life if grand. I’m used to extremely irregular wear and regular pinch flats, but I’ve got things nailed down now. Tire wear with theses tire is even, traction is more than adequate and tire noise is drastically reduced.
Quiet reliable relief on the road and my wallet
GuchmysterOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/4/2022Mounted these tires on my Mazda 3 GT in May of 2021. Got about 7,000 on them now and I have been well pleased with their performance. Seems I chicken out before these things reach their limit as I have yet to have them squawk back to me during sever cornering, severe stopping, severe acceleration, ( well it's a four banger should just call it snappy acceleration). The performance is just outstanding in all conditions. I would like to find some fault with them but I have nothing to complain about. Good job big ol squeezy Michelin Man.
Hooo Doggies them is good tires
Pop Pop saysOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review10/23/2024These handle really well and helped me out a lot with the big rain we get in Florida. Unfortunately, 2 tires are down to 3 and 2/32nds. 2 Tires are down to 4.5/32nds. I have about 20k miles on the tires and drive on the highway mostly. Florida roads can be pretty rough since they get baked, so I imagine this is a leading cause. I'm hoping to get some warranty on the 2 tires that are near the end.

I live in Phoenix and thought the heat was a factor. My daughter in Washington also got poor tread life out of the same model tire with a Kia sedan my car being an Audi SQ5. I’m replacing these with the Defender 2 giving Michelin another try I hope it ends up better. Also will seek some adjustments based on short tread life bit will see how that goes. All other performance for this tire were wrest they just don’t last.
Last Set of these!

Quiet and very comfortable for a performance tire, my car is lowered too. I got these to replace my AS/3s since those were so good. The tire has excellent dry grip and very good wet grip. I haven't had a chance to test snow grip yet, but if the AS/3 was anything to go by, I am not worried about it one bit. I just had a chance to take the car to the track and the tires were great there as well. I never felt like the tires were going to let me go off track unless I wanted to, and I was full tilt out there. Managed to pass up a 350Z in my 200hp Acura and didn't get caught by the Focus RS or the Roush Mustang. That was a very twisty course where grip was key, and it never let me down. T...
Fantastic for daily driving and medium track use.
