I purchased this item to help my mother, she fell and broke her hip this year. I love the quality construction/larger suction cup rubber based legs. She uses it very often and could not shower without this product. I highly recommend it and searched many of these until I found this particular one. A local medical supply company wanted over $100 for a product similar in design/function. Trust me when I say you'll be happy with this!

It is a good chair. Seems well made and fairly easy to adjust. My 86 year old mother is able to use it without any difficulty. My only complaint is that it seems a little pricey. For what it is constructed of, I would think about $20 cheaper would be a fair price.

I only give this 4 stars because of its clunkiness makes it clumsy to move in and out of the bathroom and difficult to stow away. Other than that it is a high quality product and a good size for a large, modern tub. For my puny tub however, it was not a good fit. The gap between the segment that hangs over the tub and the rest of the seat sat in such a way that water ran like a waterfall down the outside of my tub and onto the floor. For that reason I'm returning it and getting a more compact model.

This item was purchased for wife's Aunt who broke her hip in a fall!! This was just what the Dr. ordered. It works great for her and she has no problem getting in and out of tub. Would recomend this product to anyone who needs one. Assembly was a snap with no tools needed.

This bench is one-third outside the tub and two-thirds inside. I found that it is best to elevate the two legs outside the tub higher than the ones inside so that water runs back into the tub rather than on the floor. I purchased a heavy duty shower curtain liner and made two vertical cuts to accommodate the bench, and the combination of efforts has worked well in not getting water outside the tub. The two legs inside the tub have good suction so it isn't going anywhere.

This is a sturdy, cost effective item for getting in a tub to shower for those who have trouble walking. My husband has a broken femur and it unable to put weight on his right leg. He can sit on the edge and scoot on the bench. It works so well, he'll probably use it once healed.

This is an awesome chair. Very well made and heavy duty. But, much too large for my tub and small bathroom. The legs and handle rested in the middle of my tub. When I sat down I was more towards the edge of the tub. Which made it impossible for me to use my hand held shower. This would be perfect for a walk-in shower.

This item is very well made... and it should be, because it's made by Drive Medical. This is the exact item they recommended at the rehab facility I stayed in after my bilateral (double) knee replacement. I was able to find it and order it from Walmart with free shipping (7 days) and it was nearly $20 cheaper than Amazon prime. (free shipping) Go figure. Quality item for a great price. Works like a champ.

The frame (Lifetime Guaranteed) broke after a year. I am under 330lbs and it says for people up to 500lbs on the bench. I called the company and emailed them, to get a replacement frame but no one responds. It was a good transfer bench.

Very secure, almost too secure, as when I try and remove it, so others can use the shower, I have difficulty releasing the suction cups. But that is a problem I don’t mind, because that shows me how safe it is for my family member.
