I searched for the largest, most affordable structure I could find to make an outdoor kitchen. This was it! It was a little intimidating at first with the parts that came in 11 huge boxes, but it was pretty easy to assemble. Two of us did most of it but a third person was needed at to move and make adjustments. I am in love with how this turned out and definitely recommend it. Price cannot be beat for the size and the material.

Backyard landscaping is finally done and the gazebo could not have turned out better. Took a couple days to assemble but turned out great. I didn't way to use string lights, I grill and bbq quite a bit and there is just not enough light. I work in the lighting/electrical engineerimg industry and installed (3) LED strips with black finish to match the ceiling with all of the pipe ran on top of the cover, so it looks pretty clean and very bright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this gazebo because I wanted to get some cover for our back patio without needing permits and without the expense of having a contractor come out and build something permanent. When our friends come over, all I get are positive reviews and "hey give me the website where you bought this". It is really a great option. We added a gutter on the down sloped end to handle the rain runoff which help keep things dry. My only hope is that they will make an add on section to this kit. We would like it to be 30 feet long to cover our whole patio. If they come out with that, I'll be the first to buy it. I don't think we will be looking to do a permanent patio cover any time soon. It was easy to build. I put it together in about three days by myself. The only help I needed was to join sections together. My wife and son helped me with that part. Read the instructions slowly and carefully. They can be somewhat difficult to understand. Just follow the pictures and go slowly. Once you know how a section goes together, other sections go really fast.

Bought this gazebo because of the size and shape for my back porch. It gets lots of sun and was too hot to sit out there, as well to have rain coverage. We flipped it where the high end is next the house so it drains way from the house. Took three of us to put together in about 5 hours and three of us to put the roof on. Best way is to put a ladder in the center and push it up, we had three people to push it. You will have to treat it with stain, but over all high quality, instructions are easy to follow. Looking forward to hanging out now in the backyard. The dogs are too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this because we need to get my husbands smoker off the main deck and this design was what we were looking for. It looks great at the end of our pool and the color matches our deck color perfectly. It was just my husband and me assembling it and it took the two of us 3 days, during the hot summer days of July. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Just lay out all of your parts/pieces in number order and the process is faster. We made a few changes to ours by moving one of the end tables to the front and adding some additional wood siding for privacy. It's a very sturdy gazebo and definitely worth the investment.

The gazebo came with all material required for assembly. My wife and I assembled it in a couple days without too much difficulty. The wood is very light and the posts are hollow, but the assembled product is sturdy. We already have some dark spots on the wood after 7 months, so it looks like sanding and staining will be an annual recurring maintenance at the very least. Overall we are satisfied with this product.

Just absolutely loved the entire experience with this carport. I knew it was going to be a challenge because of the grade where I wanted to place it. There is a good 15" drop from one corner to the opposite corner. Since the posts are hollow I decided to modify the bottoms. I first dug the required holes and filled them with concrete. Then I accurately measured the drop from the highest point to all the other post slabs. I then used 4x4 and 2x8 pressure treated wood to build inserts. I added 5" to all the posts so that the post on the highest point would have a "matching" base. The top of the black paint on the posts are now all level. My approach to this install was when I inventoried everything I stacked all the parts in reverse order from the instructions. I then built all the joists and reverse stacked them in the order that the instructions called for them. Day of the install went so very easy. Literally less than a day to assemble the posts, joists, roof, and anchors. Finished product is so much more than I expected. We love this carport!!

The Arcadia gazebo is awesome! It was the perfect size for our needs. It ended up being a lot of work but we got it done in a weekend. There were a few issues I had and they are as follows: 1) I wish we didn’t have to spend so much time water sealing the wood. That was huge time suck. 2) I wish Backyard Discovery would offer some gazebos with a back wall. I ended up having to buy some tongue and groove planks and tack them up on the back end to really give us adequate shade and privacy the whole day long. 3) It was almost impossible to do the job with just two people. There were two times, when we were attaching the two side panels to the back panel when I needed to get my wife to help us because two people have to hold the panels together while one guy screws them together. All in all it looks great and the value was there. Now we just have to wait and see if it holds up over time.

The barbecue gazebo is ab attractive addition to our backyard patio. The gazebo came in two boxes. The assembly is quite lengthy. The parts are well labeled and correspond well with the installation manual. The manual says 3 hours to assemble but that wasn't the case for me. It took about 12 hours but we went slow taking care to double check our work. Three people will be needed for the roof but if you can get a fourth person it will help. Don't skip steps. If you do you may regret it. I must commend Backyard Discovery for the precise layout for the assembly points for this gazebo. Everything lined up precisley which was quite impressive considering all the connections that needed to be made and the nature of wood (contraction, expansion, warping etc.). We were missing poles so we called the manufacturer and they shipped out the missing poles the same day we called. If you are good at putting things together then go for it. For those who may find this challenging I would reccomend hiring someone to put it together. Great product. I would highly recommend it.
