Purchased this dome 11 months ago. Assembled it only four months ago. Upon assembly, noticed that the powder coat on one bar was bubbled in one spot. That spot rusted within days of assembly. I submitted a warranty claim to Lifetime. I received a reply in 24 hrs, confirming that they would be sending a replacement bar and touch up paint. The replacement part arrived shortly after. I would not hesitate to buy another Lifetime product. Highly, highly recommend this company! The dome itself is super sturdy and the colors are bright and fun. A+

All my grand kids, from my oldest of 21 to the youngest of 3 love climbing on this thing! As children, my own kids played on one in the park near our home and had so much fun, I had to get this for the younger crowd. I see my 3 year old great-grandson becoming so self-confident as he travels around the outside of the dome by himself. His dad helps him to the upper area, where he loves sitting on top and seeing things from a different perspective. This was definitely a good purchase!

I primarily purchased this for my 3-year-old, but my older son who just turned 11 has been on it, while my 3-year-old has shown no interest. I am not sure why as he LOVES to climb and swing from every object possible? After assembling the dome climber, I realized it is a pretty good size. It will probably be a while before he can actually climb onto the first bar off the ground. We have had it assembled for less than a week, so I am hoping he will warm up soon. We even put his kiddie pool in the middle underneath today to coax him into exploration. We had zero success with that manipulative move. It is still a GREAT product and whether or not he uses it now, we are pretty certain he will come to love it and play on it for many years to come. The structure is pretty sturdy after assembly and easy to move with a nice added feature of joint bolt covers that double as a climbing fob. There were some technical inconsistencies with this product: instructions, maximum weight, and recommended ages. INSTRUCTIONS: 3 on a scale of 1-10. It is almost easier to figure it out than try to view the illustrations. The gray-scale coloring is inverted on the instructions with the hunter green bars in light shades and the light brown (beige) bars illustrated in the darker shades. This made it confusing when putting the bars together. There were also a few places that were not clear. The instructions do not mention from Step 1 that you will be screwing and unscrewing the nuts SEVERAL times in the main sections. Well designed and we made. It should last a long time. More difficult to put together following the instructions than it should be. Suggest better instructions from the manufacturer. We finally ignored the instructions and followed the picture on the cover of the box. It takes two people to build unless you are blessed with a third hand. It took about 3 hours to put together. We could do it quicker now that we have done it once. Note in the instructions that you put the correct bars in the correct locations. There to different diameter tubes for different locations. Don't let me comments deter you from purchasing this unit if you are not particularly mechanically inclined. It is not that difficult once you follow the picture. We added pressure treated wood blocking under the bars on the ground to keep the bars off the wet ground. This should help keep the bars from rusting and the unit should last much longer.

We were missing 2 climbing rocks from this dome we bought secondhand. I contacted customer service and they are sending me the 2 missing rocks for free. This is such amazing customer service. They were prompt in response to my email and to boot sending product for free. I am so grateful and I will be sure to look at other potential products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this just under a month and the kids can’t stay off of it. I have two boys who love to climb so they are constantly all over it. They use it for climbing, pretend it’s a base or house, decorate it, or just want to eat their lunch under it. My suggestion is to read the instructions even the print at the bottom. We put it together and had to undo it a couple times because we missed an instruction. You have to assemble the first shape several times and then put all those together to make the dome.

Very sturdy my husband and I both went on it. Easy to put together for the most part, Read through the entire directions first and sort everything out. When putting sides together put the bottom piece on also at that time or when you get to that part of the directions you will have to undo a bunch of stuff you already put together just to put it on. I took us about 1 1/2 hours to put together. Two adults can easily move it from one location to another.

Purchased this through Costco a little over a month ago. Set it up a week ago took a little while approximately 3 hours instructions were not clear about direction to put screws in as diagrams were vague and not very descriptive. My children loved it made my 4 year old son so proud when he could climb to the top and my little girl played house in it. It was prefect for our yard and due to the current situation with COVID-19 and all playground being closed we were so happy they had it to climb on. This evening received an email from Costco explaining that the manufacturer used extensive amount of Barium in the paint which can cause adverse health effects and the product has been RECALLED. We are to take it apart and dispose of the product. We were advised that we will receive a refund for the purchase. But my children have now had everything taken away school playgrounds, friends,family and now their beloved climber talk about an emotional heart break for my 2 and 4 year old kids. I now am scrambling to find something good quality to replace this as my children are going to be heart broken when I take it down, and have to throw it away. If i was told about this recall 2 weeks prior there would not have been an issue the children would not have known about it, and there would not be the emotional trauma that this will cause them. I wish Lifetime had done more prior to selling the product, for example test for the adverse chemicals in their products prior to them being sold. Just disappointed with the whole situation and really left in the dark as i am unable to speak with any sales rep. would not recommend this product obviously. also all other geo climbers are currently out of stock does not help the situation. I am currently bracing myself for a lot of tears and heart break in the coming days.

Buyer beware! This outdoor climbing structure does not last long when used outdoors. Our structure has completely rusted on the bars and joints, I have to throw it away as it is no longer safe for my children to use. Waste of money, will not be purchasing from Lifetime again.

My kids love the dome and it's VERY sturdy!! The only issue was assembly! We were short a few nuts and had to omit them. The instructions are very vague and hard to follow. We ended up looking at the picture on the box and putting it together our own way. If you buy this, good luck! Deep breaths and take your time lol
