[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 months ago, so far no real issues. The only thing is it takes forever to dry, I believe the shortest cycle is 20 minutes and honestly 20 minutes will only dry a handful of clothes, not an entire load. But overall great.

I also love to utilize Samsung Smart Things with my new appliance so that I can get notifications on my Samsung devices, like my phone and TV, when my dryer is done or even check on my Smart Things app to see how much longer my dryer has to complete a load. While I love my dryer and it's efficiency, there is one slight thing I would change. I wish it had a light within the dryer so I can make sure to get all things out when they're done drying. However I would still highly recommend!

The drum is a dark gray color. Makes it hard to see if you got all the clothes out. There is no light inside either, I miss that. This dryer must be the basic model. No problem connecting to smartthings. I like getting notifications that it is done. If I have gone somewhere I can keep my clothes from wrinkling.

With the auto sensing dry and adjusting heat level this thing will adapt and just dry as much as needed and shut off! Best feature is the Samsung smart home app which allows us to start the dryer remotely in the evening when rates are low and the demand on the Texas grid is much less. It also lets us know when the load is complete so we can start another one instead of keep checking on it every fifteen minutes. This dryer has been awesome and we can't wait to do such a tedious task like laundry now!

I have downloaded the Smart Things app and it looks promising, especially when I forget that I have a load in the dryer and need to keep it fresh. I haven't used it very much, but keeping dry laundry fresh is a definite plus. I look forward to trying all of the different settings. The SmartThings app adds to the level of convenience - I’m notified when the load finishes through the TV if watching and on the phone. There is as well a fun song when the cycle is complete. We have 6 people doing laundry in our house so the load capacity also reduces the amount of time needed to get all of our laundry done! The only downfall is I don’t see an interior light in the dryer when the doors open. If that’s the only downfall, it’s still a great dryer!
