I have had this washer for 3 weeks now and it works really good. There are lots of settings and it was easy to connect to to the app. I’m still learning all the functions and options that come with the app. I’m sure I’ll like it even more once I really learn what all it can do.

It has fabrics sensor and turbo wash technology. My big loads are finished in less than 30 mins. The design of these washer and dryers are simply elegant.

Like most LG appliances I have owned, at first I love them. Unfortunately, as they age, they reveal their subpar quality. I purchased this washer in 2022 from BestBuy. It is an attractive design and easy to use. However, you buy a washer for cleaning performance, and this is where this machine falls short. The normal cycle tries way too hard to be water efficient. Nothing on this cycle ever gets very clean due to lack of water. Sure you can increase the soil, but it just adds time. I have found using heavy duty or permanent press help mitigate the problem somewhat as they use more water. Next is the spin cycle, and this is where this machine is just a hunk of junk. Sorry LG, but you need to quit relying on sensors to determine if the load can spin and build a machine that can actually spin. If you are going to make a large capacity washer, make sure it can spin the said large capacity. I never mix loads improperly and do not overfill it with clothes. However, any load that is more than 50% of the capacity just stalls out in the spin cycle. Either it takes it 20 minutes to finally spin,or I get a UE code. I have had the unit checked, and it is working to standard. It is just a poor standard. Thus, if you are looking at this machine due to it's capacity, forget it. It will never spin that large capacity well. I have since talked two family members into a Speed Queen top loader as it just cleans and spins so much better. That will be my go to brand next time. In summary, if you are not doing lots of laundry or only do small loads, this unit will probably meet your needs. If you are buying to handle your whole family's constant loads of clothes, look elsewhere. The spin cycle is abysmal, and the cleaning is just not mediocre.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never had a front load until now and I love it. It only takes 29 minutes for normal loads as apposed to an hour on my old top load. Also love the wifi option so I know when it gets done. Overall love the washer. Will more than likely buy the matching dryer when current one needs replaced.

Great cleaning ablity with use of less soap, bleach and softener. I purchased this washer as it was the best available of the stock on hand at my dealer. Only problem is the operation of the machine requires some one who is extremely versed in operating a computer. It should be pointed out that I am 81 and my Grandson would love the operational aspect of this machine only problem he is 2300 miles away and can not give any assistance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new LG front load washer is sort of like a dream come true. We chose LG by reputation and have not been disappointed in any way. I was at first confused by the intel aspect but a short call to LG and everything was clarified. The multiple settings have made washing a variety of items from workout gear to bedding to quilts exceptionally easy and the level of clean unsurpassed compared to our older machine. We are using far less detergent and less water which is an added plus. LG manuals were easy to understand and answered what few questions we had.

It is thinner than a standard washer, so it saves on space, time and energy. Love the charcoal color as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such new technology and I'm oh so lucky. Okay, let me first start off with the fact that I have only used old machines. We would usually only buy used machines or something that was the most basic of machines, so to say I'm blown away by the technology of this machine would be an understatement. I love this machine. I always wanted a front loading machine but was hesitant because of the price and the issues you hear about the rubber getting moldy or breaking down over time. This is new so I can't speak to that part yet but we've not noticed any leaks or any issues around the door. The only issue I have with the door is that it only opens one direction. I can't switch it which is annoying for how I have this set up. Stacking would be no issue. So anyway, the door shuts, you don't need to slam it shut, just gently push it closed. I sometimes haven't been careful about that but it bounces back quickly and then I have to shut it correctly, gently. The tech is slightly overwhelming at first. While it's great for starting loads when I'm on my way home or at ridiculous times in the before dawn making for an easy switch when I'm out of bed, there are also a ton of buttons that I still haven't mastered. I never used any other rinse cycles with my other machines so this is easy but not as intuitive right out of the box. I did spend sometime looking up information on the LG site as well as youtube. I've basically only mastered the regular wash and can sometimes get it to use another cycle and grab the downy from the little soap dispenser but it's also sometimes a hit or miss. With this machine I don't really ever second guess how I do laundry. I just toss in clothes or towels and set it with those preset parameters and then it measures or weighs it. I have to say, it's as ultra creepy as it is cool that the little blinking man is "thinking" and measuring to use the right amount of water for each load. I have yet to notice any issue with over filling the load and have likely underfilled loads in the beginning. I have had to break myself of the conditioning I had with my last machine, that taught me to only fill it so much. This machine has washed ALL THE TOWELS, comforters, clothing for 5 and my husbands heavy fire safety extra heavy jeans and nothing every comes out soaked. The spin is amazing for wringing out every load and I use less time on my dryer because of it. I'm overall amazed at this machine and how nice our clothes clean and how little water we use. I do loads up to 7 times a week and this thing is a great investment.
