This was the top rated washer and thus far has exceeded our expectations. Quick, quiet, efficient, and does a great job. Definitely also recommend the matching dryer and the optional pedestals are a must for ergonomics and storage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this LG washer about almost a month ago and are very happy so far. It's relatively quiet, does not vibrate the floor and cleans clothes very well. I would highly recommend this model to anyone who want a front loader.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this just over two months ago and it's been a good washing machine with one caveat...it almost presses wrinkles into what is being washed. Pros: The wifi/app is nice. I appreciate the notification when loads are done rather than remembering to set a timer elsewhere or listening for the tone It absolutely gets things cleaner than even the last LG washer we had (for 12 years!) It's generally pretty quiet It's larger than the last one and handled a King comforter without issue. Cons: We have noticed that we have to use the absolute lowest spin cycle or even a hand steamer can't always get the wrinkles out. I have to trust that the steam function works because it's not obvious when it's happening. Setting up the wifi took 4 attempts which I think is excessive. I'm a network nerd and it isn't obvious which MAC address is the washer and which is the dryer for me to set a static IP address (this is a personal issue that I just have to deal with, most people won't care). Overall it's a good machine.

After struggling for 5 years with another big brand name washer, my life is so much better after purchasing the LG washer that Consumer Reports recommended. I have no fear of it constantly breaking down as the other did. First of all, the washer has a fantastic load capacity. I washed one of my quilts in it, and they're large; however, you can wash small loads in it because it weighs the load you put in, and then rations the amount of water needed for that load. And, it has a lot of different settings that, minute wise, allows you to save money on electricity. I've used 6 different settings so far, and they range from 15 minutes to 1 hour. There are more settings that I haven't used, but my clothes come out very clean on the ones that I have used. The washer is quiet, and I love the musical chime which tells you the cycle has ended. And one other thing that I really like is I can choose to add an extra rinse cycle which is 14 minutes. I use it each time. So far, I'm really really pleased with my purchase, and I'm just waiting for the dryer that matches it to become available so I can buy it also. Can't be too soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought a new washer since my old washer broke. I absolutely love my new washer since it's much easier to load and unload clothes. I'm short so that helps! However, I wish there is an option to change the door to left instead.. I found out that it couldn't be change so I had to maneuver to open the washer which is something I wish I could change. Beside that, the washer itself is wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Efficient washer but build quality falls short of some competitors. Middle market washer as opposed to higher end. Seems to wash fine and that is primary function. If it remains durable over time then a good value. Our machine has a tendency to "wobble" with any load over 50% capacity. Have to do smaller loads, more frequency.

Does and excellent job cleaning clothes. my only negative is we purchased a pair and the dryer has a led drum light and the washer does not. seems odd when they are a pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an LG set for years, but when we moved from one state to another, we sold it with our home and bought the new set for our new home. So glad we did. This set is so quiet, even on the pedestal. Unless I am in laundry room, I can’t even hear it. No vibrations, washes like a dream, and spins clothes almost dry. Washes blankets, etc. like a dream, too.

The only thing we were concerned about was service as we live outside of Durango and there are no dedicated LG service locations anywhere near. We did buy an ESC. I hope this washer lasts as long as our previous washer, 16 yrs.
