[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new washer! This LG washing machine replaced an old Kenemore that was on it's last leg. I am very happy with the load capacity. It tackles a full weeks worth of clothes for both daughters in one load and we've even successfully washed our king comforter. The load options are easy to choose and also make your own. We tend to wash our items in cold water more often, so we switch it to "normal" and then manually click the water temp button. I've also been able to hit the pause button and throw items in that I missed when I started the load. This is usually within 5 minutes of starting the load. I was leary about front load washers because of the mold horror stories, so I decided to be more proactive and I leave a hand towel in my bin of laundry products to wipe down the rubber casket and door when I am done with my final load of the day. I have worked this machine endlessly for the past 4 weeks and have noticed only one thing that makes me leary and it is the amount of water that is left in the detergent reservoir after the load is done. It's not a lot, but enough to dump several drips out to ensure there's no water just hanging around. If you're not overwhelmed by options, I would totally recommend this washer (dryer set). It's easy to figure out, but I feel like it might overwhelm my mother in-law, who still specifically requests a flip phone when she needs a new cell phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this about 2 months and many loads. Replaced 13 year old LG washer. Only thing I don't like is the AI, it tends to shorten loads and some cloths, particularly cotton workout items do not get totally clean. Turbo Wash is nice addition and with AI for not soe dirty items is OK. AI can be turned off by selecting highest soil level but wash cycle is very long. I don't mind that as long as cloths get clean. Hopefully a firmware update will allow better disable of AI. Even so, a great quiet machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reluctantly bought another front loading washer because I was assured they are the best and have improved since my last purchase (11 years ago) of a front loader. There are improvements but still not happy with front load due to moisture issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a nice size and has many features. Does not handle small loads of one or two items. It goes out of balance. Always need to put in a few pieces of similar weight. Other then that. I do really like it.

AT ONE YEAR APPROXIMATELY IT STARTED RIPPING CLOTHES AND TOWELS AND WASH CLOTHS. I BOUGHT HD'S EXTRA WARRENTY AND THEY CAME TO INSPECT. FULLY INSPECTED AND COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM AND THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE CAUSED BY THE DRYER. I'M MAKING AN EXPERIMENT TO PROVE WHICH IT IS. OTHERWISE IT HAS BEEN FANTASTIC FOR THE FIRST YEAR. CLEANS WELL AND IT IS QUIET. IF IT DIDN'T RIP FABRICS, I WOULD GIVE IT A 5 STARS.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first LG front-load washer lasted us almost 15 years and the replacement stayed with our last house. I didn’t think I’d like this new one as much as I do. I love that I get reminders when my laundry is finished. It’s easy to use and the downloadable cycles that are available are great and give me so many more options, especially the handwash-wool cycle.

I purchased my LG Washer and Dryer 2022. I was very happy initially. However, after after reading the the information booklet I realized that there was upkeep. There is a hose at the bottom of the washer and a filter too. The hose has to be emptied of water and the filter cleaned out routinely. Also the soap dispenser should be left open to dry out any residual water. The care of the washer was never explained to my upon purchase of the washer and dryer. The hose to empty the water is at the front bottom of the washer and it is not very long so it is hard to empty. I have to get down on the floor to do this which is not easy for me. Even though you receive the manual it should have been explained at time of purchase. I do not know if I would have purchased the appliances had I known.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used front load machines so I was anxious that we had made the right decision for our new laundry/mudroom space. So far, I am pleased. It handled winter coats, heavy towels, gentle clothes and everything in between. It used less detergent and still cleaned completely. I will need to get used to the drying of the machine at the end of the wash day and I am not looking forward to emptying the backflow.

I love my LG washer and dryer. The washing and drying cycles are quick and the clothes are cleaned well. Also, I like that you don't need to use very much detergent to get the clothing cleaned. It is easy to program to get just about any combination of washing you need.
