[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this washer for about a month and so far it works great. I wasn't sure if the Turbo Wash would be worth the extra money, but it is. I really cuts down on the time it takes to do a cycle without sacrificing your clothes getting clean. The app that you can use on your smartphone is handy, but it had some quirks to get it paired with the washer. Once set up on the phone, no problems. The washer is very quiet and it doesn't stick out so far into the room compared to some others, which was one of the deciding factors in getting this one. The front of the washer has a smoke colored cover on the door, which I'm not sure I like or not. It's a little too dark so you can't see very well whats going on in the washer. However it makes the front of the door perfectly flat and looks sleek. The inner window is actually tempered glass and not acrylic which is impressive. All in all very impressed with the washer so far. Cleanliness of the clothes is far superior to the HE top load washer it replaced.

Pros: This large capacity machine does a great job cleaning all kinds of clothes, bedding, etc. while efficiently using electricity, water and detergent. Cons: It's very low to the ground. Either buy the expensive optional base, or you'll be kneeling on the floor to get your clothes out of the machine. Also, the machine does not stay connected to Wifi for more than a day or two. I've called LG support a few times and tried every fix I can find on the internet, but the Wifi is still not working properly.

We bought this product that we thought it was great, exciting and dependable. It is easy understand and follow the features and instructions. We are optimistic of this washer for the best of our need.

However the control panel looks like it’s touch control but after finally calling customer service I found that the options are only available with certain wash settings. For example you can’t choose cold water for a normal cycle which is odd and annoying.

Cleans well and has plenty of options for choosing load requirements; water temperature, spin, Rinse and Spin, Turbo Wash, etc. We have not used the Smart Features yet. The Turbo Wash is nice as it cuts down washing time but the clothes still come out clean and are not wrapped and tangled together like a top loading machine. We had to special order this machine and during the time we waited for it to come in, we had to use the local Laundry Mat. We brought the wet clothes/towels home and used our LG dryer to dry them. The lint from the clothes and towels by using this machine (or our previous Samsung front loader that served us well for 11 years) has been easily less then 20X the amount of lint on the lint screen, as compared to what we saw on our dryer lint screen after having used the top loader at the Laundry Mat and then drying those clothes and towels in our home dryer. (Note: The Laundry Mat top loader had been rated the highest as one if the highest for top loaders by Consumer Reports.) Front loaders are so GENTLE on the clothes! I have also washed bulkier items on the bedding cycle and they come out clean and the machine has not jumped around on the floor during the Spin cycle. Do not use too much detergent, especially with bulkier items, or else you will be using the Rinse and Spin Cycle to get the soap residue out of the items and also from inside the door! No complaints so far on this beautiful machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our 20-year-old washer died a few weeks ago, we went straight to Consumer Reports for guidance on a replacement. This was the top rated washer and thus far has exceeded our expectations. Quick, quiet, efficient, and does a great job. Definitely also recommend the matching dryer and the optional pedestals are a must for ergonomics and storage!

Love the capacity and all the cycle options, especially the Allergiene. Wish that LG included a full, hard copy of the user manual with the washer. The online PDF version provides far more useful info on the cycle options than either the "quick start" guide or the paper manual that came with the washer (which seems far more focused on installation than use). As for the ThinQ app - it's a pain to install (locked up once, had to re-install, very complicated to add my devices despite being only 10 feet from my router) and think that only the diagnosis function will be helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer is amazing and handles any type of stains or clothes. Has more than enough features that we will ever use. Only negative in my opinion is it shakes little bit when spinning cycle starts, however my installer said it was normal?

I really like the communication feature between the washer and dryer, automatically selecting the cycle for the dryer based on the wash cycle. Everything was very easy to use and load after load no issues to report. So far so good. Great washer
