Clothes have both a visible and tactile difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trusty top loader gave it all - but beyond repair and had to go. I did some research, the 4000HWA rated highly and had both energy and water saving features along with steam and sanitation, things that are helpful with a dog. We noticed an immediate difference in our clothing. Softer, and brighter. Reduced detergent use too! And it can be linked up with the LQ on line app to perform even more miracles. Would definitely recommend the washer as "Life's Better" :)

Love the increased tub size over previous washer

The increase in tub capacity surprised me. My 12-year old Bosch washer seemed large at the time, but now I can do 1 1/2 loads at a time and get through the laundry much faster - always a plus as my machines are in my cold garage! But it feels like the completed wash cycle is slightly wetter than the old Bosch. Not by much, but noticeable. With the increased new tub size, I might just need a larger new LG dryer - and matching laundry pieces are always an esthetic plus. Even if they are in the garage.

So far, so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had the washer a couple of weeks, but so far it is working great. Our old washer left residue, but the clothes actually come out clean with this one. The spin cycle also works well and clothes come out less wet. Only drawbacks are the door swings the wrong way for our setup (washer on right of dryer), and the new appliance smell is a bit strong.

Super quiet washer with tons of features!

We have owned the LG WM4000HWA washer for about a month now and couldn't be more pleased with its features. It's fairly quiet and the Wifi features add tons of convenience. We also love the higher capacity and stackability. Would highly recommend it!

Well worth the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased to replace a top load washer that was on its last leg. So far it has an excellent washing machine. It get my clothes much cleaner than my previous machine and is very easy to operate. I did have to buy the pedestal to raise it up for easier loading and unloading. I am very pleased with this washing machine

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never had a front load until now and I love it. It only takes 29 minutes for normal loads as apposed to an hour on my old top load. Also love the wifi option so I know when it gets done. Overall love the washer. Will more than likely buy the matching dryer when current one needs replaced.

Versatile washer, from delicates to heavy bedding

Our prior LG front-loading washer was a reliable workhorse for over 10 years of family laundry, so when it came time to replace it, we looked again to LG. We found this washer at a good price & liked the features...and especially liked the larger capacity that can handle bedding, coats, etc. Being on septic, we need to conserve water, and this machine wins on that point too. This washer can be controlled through an app, but we just use the machine settings. We've washed everything from fragile delicate garments to a large down-filled parka, and all has come out clean. We're really happy with this washer and would recommend it to anybody who wants large capacity and flexible settings including steam. We plan on it lasting as long as its LG predecessor.

Pludes and minuses

I bought the machine 3 weeks ago. I am enjoying but am unable to take full advantages of all the features because it did not come with a user manual and how to use all the features. You can only get the full user manual and you can't download it as a pdf file.

Small side of full size is great for smaller space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really glad that these models are on the small side of full size so they could fit in the closet space on our 3rd floor. They hold so much!! The washer is a little loud and the dryer often needs to be run for a bit longer manually to get the others dry - but otherwise I've liked them a lot.

Ease of Use & Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a technically advanced machine, the touchpad is very easy to understand and use. You almost do not need the instructions. I would not recommend that though, for safety's sake. The washer is so quiet even in the spin cycle.
