[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had ours for about a month now, and the short impression is we are not overly impressed, but not overly dissatisfied either. On the pro side, it seems to clean well, and hasn't let us down yet in terms of not doing it's stated job well. I had one very large load of heavily soiled clothes that it thoroughly cleaned to the point of not being a concern anymore. On the con side, there are a few. The number of specific cycles for special situations or laundry types is lacking compared to our ten year old former washer that had a plethora of them to cover most any case. Both the direct drive motor AND the water pump are noticeably noisier than our old model as well, despite the product being labeled as "quiet." Finally the wifi connectivity, as other have mentioned, is somewhat of a laughable feature when it refuses to connect or stay connected to my network, this despite having a very strong and stable signal extender located right next to the machine. In this day and technological age, this is inexcusable.

This is my second LG laundry set. The engineering in this set is astounding, and it has improved greatly over the set I bought ten years ago. The turbo wash feature makes so much sense, and I have been waiting for this. It solves the problem of the load taking so much time to get completely saturated when it starts; a problem that seems inherent to tilted-axis washers. So now you get the advantage of the tilted axis without the old disadvantage. The direct-drive washing action is well thought-out. The washer is quiet, attractive, and spins so fast that the dryer is almost and afterthought. Buy this washer!

The washing machine is quiet. There are so many options but I have found the few that work perfectly for my needs! Love the delay wash. Love the alerts I get on my phone when the cycle is complete. The large capacity - perfect for my family pf six.

The large size drum is just right for bedding and large, heavy loads of jeans. It’s quiet and When the clothes come out of the washer, they have excess water already rung out and feel dryer than expected.0h yes, it’s gorgeous when the dials light up on the rich, dark color. I feel spoiled.

However, the owners’ manual needs to be written by someone who doesn’t already understand the machine before he/she writes it. While the installation instructions can be found in print, it is annoying to have to temporarily download the bulk of the operating instructions via a QR Reader. That is so inconvenient! For a few more dollars, please include these in print. Also, the instructions to connect the appliances to wifi are less than helpful. Please include written instructions pertinent to the model sold and perhaps include a Youtube video. I had to call and speak to 4 people in order to successfully connect. If you don’t offer clear instructions, don’t include wifi options.
