Had a Samsung that stopped mid-cycle. Repairman took five minutes to tell me to get a new washer. Read a lot of reviews and scanned lists for the best front load machine. Have had this machine for two weeks. Love the options, esp. the towel setting because we swim a lot. Clothes seem a lot drier when I take them out, which cuts down on the time they spend in the dryer! So far it has been awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the WM4000HWA washer to replace a Maytag that had failed. I didn't expect this to be such an upgrade but it was. Although, I only have been using it for a short 2 weeks, it has been amazing. The turbo mode is a must have, the cycle is literally minutes, it leave the clothes clean and dry. This is my first LG but won't be my last. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate, this machine is spectacular.

Its cleans our clothes efficiently and pretty fast I might add. We love that you can see how much time is left on the app and you can quickly diagnose and fix any problems using the app as well! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an LG front loader washer/dryer combination 20 years ago. I had to remodel the set up for the Washer to fit. I didn't know how lucky I was until I went to replace the machine that it lasted 20 years. So I decided to purchase the dryer as well. I really like these machines. The only negative was the soap dispenser. After years of water running through, the front panel on the inside started to rust. The dryer had no negatives. I only wish I had purchased earlier when my son was playing sports. I did put purchase the pedestals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer actually makes it enjoyable to do laundry and it is super efficient. The allergy setting is perfect for doing the sheets and pillows, and with the wifi I always get a reminder when it is time to switch the load to the dryer. Being able to stack the washer and dryer was important because I wanted to minimize laundry space in the garage.

I've only run about six loads in the past few weeks. The clothes seem clean but I'm concerned that there's moisture left in the front door seal and in the detergent cups. I've never had a front-loader before. Is this normal? And I'll never need most of the features and certainly not the wifi enabled ones!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the many cycles, very quiet pump (way quieter than my old LG washer that we replaced). I really like that it lets me know it is finished with the app. The little song it plays at the end is fun too. Would definitely buy again. I don’t use the steam function as much as I should. I do like that the app reminds me to run a tub clean cycle too.

Good product undermined by LG's installation team. The product itself probably deserves 5 stars. The installation team was appalling. The re-installation team was not much better. The product was not leveled, and the team walked away with the leveling wrench supplied with the product. They tramped dirt in and didn't clean up. Their hands dirtied the laundry walls and the product. They didn't know how to install to one side or other of the available space. The second team worked this out. The incompetence of both delivery teams was not helped by their lack of English language skills. That said, two weeks of operation have been incident-free and effective. I recommend the product, but be warned. You'll probably have to supervise them closely when they install it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought three years ago. Used once a week at most through that time period (i.e. ~100-150 times). Now totally broken beyond repair. Repair company said LG frequently have this problem. Way to expensive for this level of reliability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine seems to be working well so far, it definitely is gentler and better at removing rinsing then my old machine. I do wish the settings were easier to understand, and lg explained exactly what they do and don't do. For instance turbowash, it makes a cycle shorter and soaks faster and rinses better, I wish thy explained what scenario you would turn it off? It seems many of the modes overlap and do the exact same thing, just with different cycle names. Also the phone app has some issues and is not intuitive.
