I loved my old LG and expected the best from this one. So far I’m not disappointed. Install was quick and done well. Laundry all caught up. Sheets clean delicates look great. Machine quiet, looks great.

This new machine is a front loader with many settings which are a great help compared to the previous machine. It cleans well and is recommended by a magazine which does evaluations. We especially like the feature which advises how much time is left. Another plus is the ability to add all products; soap, fabric softener, etc. at the beginning of the cycle and be done with it. If you've ever used a laundromat machine, you will love this machine. A great machine.

I knew I wanted a reliable brand, but was in between LG and GE. After doing months of research, I decided to go with the LG. It’s slimmer and more modern than the GE model I was considering. When they came to install the set, the installer could not say enough good things about the set which made me more comfortable with my decision. Excitedly I put load, after load, after load in the washer and was impressed with its performance. Not only did my clothes look cleaner, the washer is considerably more quite than my last one. Even with the laundry door open and the washer going, I can barely hear it running (I live in a small, apartment). I have not used all of the features, but the bright white and sanitize cycles have amazed me. Sturdy, nice looking and well performing, I’m happy with my purchase.

The sales people at two different companies also recommended the washer over others. So far I am very happy with the machine. I had my plumber do the hookup and I immediately noticed a severe water hammer when the machine took water in. It seems the valve in the machine closes quickly thus causing a water hammer and vibration through my plumbing system. Needless to say, no bueno. I researched online and it appears that this is a well known issue. To be honest I was upset. I had just spent major beans and the machine was going to launch my plumbing. The plumber came back, anchored the feed lines better and put water hammer arrestors on the cold and hot feed. Bueno. The water hammer issued resolved. Now I don’t even hear the thing running. So keep this in mind but I got to say they are really nice machines. My clothes and linens have NEVER been this clean. My aunt even bought th3 same model after my purchase.

The allergy setting is perfect for doing the sheets and pillows, and with the wifi I always get a reminder when it is time to switch the load to the dryer. Being able to stack the washer and dryer was important because I wanted to minimize laundry space in the garage.

Unfortunately it doesn’t include an instruction manual and you need to go online to figure out how to use it. Also if you close the door after your wash is done, it will smell mildewed. Some machines offer a feature that avoids this.

It has been remarkably reliable, devoid of any operational issues. The washing process is remarkably efficient, and the machine operates with minimal noise. The sole exception to this positive experience is the absence of a drum light. This oversight by LG is a notable deficiency. Despite this minor inconvenience, I wholeheartedly recommend this washing machine. Notably, its cleaning capabilities surpass those of my previous top-load Speed Queen washer.

Hers are still going strong! Since I had such a great experience with my old set, I chose to replace them with LG again. I am again very satisfied. Easy to use, easy to clean. They seem to wash a little faster and dry quicker also. A big bonus with energy prices.
