I order both the dryer and the washer and up until last week I thought the washer might be the first LG appliance that was not horrible. Yep in typical LG fashion they didn't let me down by delivering another product that fails. The washer seal started leaking and I had to have the appliance store come out and replace the seal. While replacing the seal the tech had a bunch of issues getting it to work with CL constantly showing. After an hour he finally got it working. Will see how long this product lasts, but if it's like the last 5 LG appliances I owned... it will be dead next year.

The Consumer Reports review for this washing machine and the LG deal was too good to say no. Anyways, I’m extremely happy with this upgrade! It’s quieter, more efficient by adjusting time based off load size, also love how the machine updates my LG app and Alexa. No more constantly checking on progress or leaving clothes in the washing machine (mold!!!). Highly recommend

The work clothes that are washed are always very stinky & dirty, but the washer does an excellent job of getting everything clean.

Purchased 2 1/2 weeks ago and door is leaking already. Went to take out my laundry & found water filled the drain pan. Was told the door gasket is bad. I haven’t even done 10 loads yet!!!!!! Reading the reviews, it’s seems many, MANY, customers are having the same leaking problem. LG should resolve this issue first all of us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m still learning. It is quiet and does a great job cleaning our clothes. The cycles take less time so I assume require less water and electricity. The cons I have are: The end of cycle signal is difficult to hear, even in close proximity, though I have excellent hearing. I would love a lighted drum. The glass is so dark you cannot see inside as the clothes are washing. I bought a flashlight so I can see inside. Why? Because I want to know how the machine is operating. The display panel is a little dim and difficult to read. The design is very plain, without much character or flair. My Whirlpools were much classier in appearance. Overall, I am very happy with this washer and would recommend it to a fiend.

I didn't give it 5 stars because it could use an internal drum light. Also, it would be nice if the download cycle option in the ThinQ app would allow me to create a custom cycle instead of just downloading from a predefined list of cycles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After three week of service it is performing as advertised, no bad surprises. Washer is extremely quiet and stable besides being very frugal with water usage. One nice attribute is the short washing cycle for most of the normal loads. The washer display even tells you what the length of the cycle will be, very convenient. The WiFi app has also performed very well. With the laundry in the basement and the washer’s quiet operation, it informs us when the wash load is done, saving any unnecessary trips down to the laundry. Speaking of the WiFi, I had a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman, Thomas, in the LG tech department help me set up the app.
