[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like: This machine cleans really well. It spins the clothes quite dry. FIVE STARS for this. What I don't like: (1) The User Interface on this machine is horrid. Turn it on and lights flash around the cycle dial.Distracting, useless 'feature'. The light stops on 'normal' cycle. But then you have to click it once to activate that cycle. And, you must SLOWLY turn it to switch between cycles. Push buttons would be better, faster and more functional for someone doing several loads of laundry. ONE STAR (or ZERO) (2) Downloadable wash cycles. ONE cycle. Only one. And you cannot change the installed cycle programs. Default water temp on Perm Press, Normal, other cycles seesm to be either Cold or Warm. Never tap cold. So I was going to log in and reconfigure the standard cycles to all start at Tap Cold. Not possible. ZERO STARS. This 'feature' is useless. (3) Delay option: I like this. Would like to be able to set for 15 minutes or 30 minutes. Not possible. Only sets at whole hours. Also, not programmable. TWO STARS. (4) No 'soak' cycle. Yes, I can do this by setting a wash cycle, then stopping the machine for a while before rinse. Having 'soak' cycle would not require manual intervention. Also, 'soak' is not a downloadable option. ZERO STARS. (5) The panel on the right for selecting options is hard to read - get rid of the flashing lights on cycle selection knob and backlight the option selection panel. ONE STAR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After three week of service it is performing as advertised, no bad surprises. Washer is extremely quiet and stable besides being very frugal with water usage. One nice attribute is the short washing cycle for most of the normal loads. The washer display even tells you what the length of the cycle will be, very convenient. The WiFi app has also performed very well. With the laundry in the basement and the washer’s quiet operation, it informs us when the wash load is done, saving any unnecessary trips down to the laundry. Speaking of the WiFi, I had a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman, Thomas, in the LG tech department help me set up the app.

I replaced my 18 year old Kenmore with this and I am super happy! The Kenmore took forever to wash, this unit has cut my wash time in half. Its quiet and so far has been doing a good job washing. I also like the cycle selection and wash temps. I am only have one problem...connecting the wifi feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't work since they installed it, but even though I asked them to fix it, they still haven't been able to fix it by making an appointment and rescheduling it for another appointment when the appointment arrives.

Impressive. I had an LG front loader that was over 16 years old and finally bit the dust. (loved it too) So I replaced like with like that is a bit bigger than the prior one. However, this one does have a musty smell even with leaving the door open. This did not happen with my original but I am still pleased with my purchase

We're very satisfied with how quiet it operates, and the range of options available for different types of loads - e.g. for towels. One note - we purchased the (empty) pedestals... they add significant height to the units, which is convenient for loading/unloading; however, make sure there is enough room under existing cabinets. In our case, it is now difficult to reach to back of overhead cabinets without using a small ladder or stool.

Hers are still going strong! Since I had such a great experience with my old set, I chose to replace them with LG again. I am again very satisfied. Easy to use, easy to clean. They seem to wash a little faster and dry quicker also. A big bonus with energy prices.

I watched a hundred washer reviews before I settled on LG. I went to all the big box stores to see the models and decided on this brand new model with no reviews available. I am very happy that this one is in my home. It's very nice looking, looks well made and easy to use. Less than 30 minute quick cycle is a huge plus and you'll be happy if your using an LG to get the job done. The washing machine is working properly every time, no vibrations and everything comes out very clean. I would highly recommend you buy an LG product for excellent quality. It replaced a 22 year old top loader and I wish I had gotten an LG years ago. Thank you LG!

Had a Samsung that stopped mid-cycle. Repairman took five minutes to tell me to get a new washer. Read a lot of reviews and scanned lists for the best front load machine. Have had this machine for two weeks. Love the options, esp. the towel setting because we swim a lot. Clothes seem a lot drier when I take them out, which cuts down on the time they spend in the dryer! So far it has been awesome!
