total crap I've had 2 in the past year sub woofer speaker came loose and due to crappy designed where they glue in the panel it couldn't be fixed. Then when I tried to get a new one of course they were out of stock and club tried to get me to purchase a more expensive replacement

The sleek and modern look makes it appealing for any home theater enthusiast. The sound bar makes any ordinary TV, a powerful system. The difference is noticeable with the first sound making its way through the speakers. You feel as if the theater is right in your very own home. The overall setup is easy, anyone can put it together. You do not need to be tech savvy for this. The instructions are clear and concise. All cables are included and you do not need to purchase anything else. Everything is labeled so there is no making mistakes. An amateur could hook this up, thats the main thing I love. This is so easy for my elderly parents to use. You will be amazed by vizio v-series 5.1 home theater, it is the best thing to have. You will never watch tv, movies, shows, etc the same way. I find myself using it everyday . You will never go back to being without it.

I love this sound system. Purchased Friday 12/16, I have watched several movies and sporting events on it over the weekend. Blown away by the quality of the product and the audio levels, all I can say is buy it and watch a good action movie, you'll love it.

Bought this last week. Super easy to install, it synced itself and was up and operating in minutes. The sound is GREAT, more than adequate for 18' x 18' TV room. Great bass, midrange and treble. It will blow you out of the room if you let it. The display on the remote makes it easy to operate and change settings from music to movie, etc. Easy to mount the surround speakers with plenty of cable from the subwoofer to each one. I would HIGHLY recommend this unit to anyone wanting a low price unit that performs exceptionally well.

Choice was between this unit and different cheaper one in which I had not heard of that manufacturer, picked the wrong one. After reading other reviews there seems to be a problem with this sound bar working with a Samsung TV, its true. The sound lags all the time the bar is on and works great when using the TV sound system.

This soundbar works intermediate and occasionally will have a static popping sound. I have called Vizio three times to be told we need to troubleshoot the soundbar. I have told the agent that it does not occur all the time, and it can be working while I am on the phone with them. My problem has not been resolved, and I have a soundbar that sometimes works!

I have been using this setup in my apartment for a while now. The sound is FAR superior to my Sony's build in speakers, which were very good themselves. The Vision has good base, true 5.1 surround, and supports Atmos (in a limited way, no ceiling speakers). Highly recommend them.

Hooked the system up, everything sounds great but the LED indicator lights on the sound bar aren’t working. These lights help determine the current level of all the audio settings, so there’s no way to determine the level of bass, treble, etc. Pretty disappointed that I have to go through the hassle of returning this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one thing I noticed off the bat was the smaller size of the 36 inch soundbar (from the 2018 version). This bar fit under my TV. I also like the new mounting options for the bar. The remote does a great job in controlling the bar. Connecting my assistant was fairly easy. I am a little disappointed there was no SmartApp control via iOS. I would rather store the soundbar remote, since it's easier to grab my phone to control settings. Satellite speakers connected quick and easy. No more "connect" button from the previous model. The speaker let me know when it didn't have a connection, but then just worked when it did connect. The bar activates within seconds of turning the TV on, and sounds great in my living room. I set up the satellite speakers in both configurations - at TV level and behind the couch. Both variations worked well, although my preference is to have the speakers behind me. Overall, it was an easy setup, and we were hearing the difference instantly. This is perfect addition for any family that wants a Dolby experience in their own living room.

i purchased this model because it was a Vizio product. and it was 5.1, why not get the best out of a sound bar with five speakers. being a non electronic understanding person, i trusted Vizio to make this process pain free. boy was i happy, this bar comes with everything you will need to get it going. you plug it in and it does the rest. i could not believe that it was that simple, quick and instructions easy to understand, i would not hesitate to recommend this sound bar. oh by the way the sound separation is great, the base speaker does a good job and the rear speakers (surround sound) hold their own. i had to adjust the volume so that they would not over power the sound bar. the wife's christmas present is one i will enjoy for a long time, :p
