This is a great sound bar. I love the volume.

sounds a whole lot better then the TV speakers. it also will connect to Bluetooth devices like your phone to play music or videos.

This is a decent sound bar. When dialed in, it does have really good sound. However, if you’re not savvy with electronics, you might find it challenging to use this sound bar and remote. When I ordered it I was looking for a “wireless” speaker sound bar system. When I read the description regarding the Visio, I did see wireless. When I opened the box I was surprised to find so many wires. Actually, the subwoofer is wireless, but the speakers are wired and plug into the subwoofer. Not the end of the world. All in all, it is a decent sounding system that makes watching TV and listening to music, without the need for a stereo system, quite nice. Eventually, I may upgrade to a full wireless sound bar system. But for now, it’s doing the job it was designed for.

After some initial trouble getting my TCL Roku smart TV to recognize this Vizio soundbar, I am pleased with the soundbar's performance. It works very well in my 740-square foot apartment. The soundbar, subwoofer, and satellite speakers all sound great when placed as directed in the instructions. This surround sound setup really enhances the movie and TV watching experience. I used the HDMI ARC port on my TV to connect the soundbar to my TV with the included HDMI cable. At first, my TCL Roku smart TV lost its connection/failed to recognize the Vizio soundbar every single time the TV was turned off and then turned back on. After unplugging all the other cables from the back of the TV (coaxial cable to rooftop antenna, HDMI cable to HD Blu-ray player, HDMI cable to iMac desktop computer, RCA composite cables to VCR) and testing them one by one with the soundbar still connected to the TV, I discovered that the HDMI cable running from an HDMI port on the TV through an adapter to a thunderbolt port on my iMac computer was the culprit. After I removed that HDMI cable, the TV was able to recognize the soundbar and I've had no problems with it since. Also, note that the wall mounts for the satellite speakers do not leave much room between the bracket and the wall for the cables to plug in to the back of the speakers—it's a tight fit, and I'm a bit worried about the cable developing a fault at the bend point. Perhaps consider using a thick flat washer between the bracket and the wall or loosening the screw on the back of the speaker to give the cable some more room.

I wanted a midrange priced sound bar to hook to my new Sony Bravia. I compared all the sound bars my local Sam's club had and decided on this Visio for $200. The sound is very good and was one of the easiest installs I've ever done. I connected the TV and Visio with an optical audio cable and a HDMI arc cable. The TV found the bar right away and the bluetooth connected right away. The bluetooth subwoofer works great and the suround speakers hook to the subwooker by wire and they sound great. Sound bar comes with a remote. I control the volume from the TV remote no problem.

I’m still getting to know this sound bar and haven’t fully mastered all the options. However I have it connected to a TV that I primarily use to do workouts on and also have watched a few movies on. The sound is clear and the bass is booming. It’s loud and I’ve had no issues w having to constantly repair like another ViZio sound bar in the past. I Would recommend this product.

This was the easiest installation I have ever done in my entire life! The directions were clear and simple to follow. Having each item wrapped and visibly labeled erased any possibility for error. The packaging was neat and organized making it easy to find each connection and follow directions. Having each step numbered and explicit also aided in the installation process. Visuals as well as written directions increased the outcome of success. It only took me a few minutes to get the entire system connected to my television. Now we are enjoying a rich sound that enhances our television viewing!

Exactly what I wanted. Good sound quality for the price. Easy setup. I was able to install and configure the system the first time around with no issues! I was even able to connect the sound bar to a record player that was hooked up to my previous home theater system and it worked just fine.

I can finally hear dialogue! Lots of settings to customize for your own taste. Subwoofer can be set to night mode so sleepers can sleep. Main speaker fits under TV so doesn't interfere with picture. Great sound and easy pairing with Samsung SmartTV. Easy set up all around. Very pleased.

Very good and compact surround sound system for a good price. Everything's included with both HDMI and optical cables fo TV connections. Perfect for a small to medium sized room.
