do not buy this dryer. after a month and a half of purchasing new, the dryer started leaking water from the bottom (not from the connections). a few days after that, it started smoking and filled my house with toxic smoke in a few seconds. luckily i was right there and turned it off and unplug it before it caught my entire laundry room on fire. my air ducts are clear and was professionally installed... so i know with out a doubt it's not the dryer and not user error....I still have not been able to get it fixed or replaced...

With 9 preset options, even my youngest can handle the chore. The LED Panel is very well organized and lights up brightly when in use, I appreciate the larger print! Samsung gives you the option for the reminder bells, so you are in control. My favorite feature is hands down the wrinkle prevent option. No one hates ironing more than me and this is a great feature to have. Using the Sanitize option allows me to ensure my clothes are dried and extra fresh/clean and no linger odors remain and I am not afraid to say I have a stinky family. From sports to restaurant work, I need something that will take care of these odors! I actually jump up when it's time to do laundry. I can't wait to use it more!

Bought this over a year ago and it’s by far the best dryer owned. I have owned my home for almost 20 years and have gone through 3 washer and dryers and this is my fourth and my best. The others were small and couldn’t hold large loads less wash and dry them effectively. Not the case with this dryer. I love the fact that it has a large drum allowing for up to 2 washer loads to dry. The smart sensor is ideal and effective. All I do is place the wet clothes in the dryer and press the start button. I come back a short while later; the clothes are completely dry! Rarely do I have to restart the dryer, one cycle is enough for completely dry clothes. The timer displays 44 minutes when you begin the cycle but it doesn’t seem to be that long. The black color is merry chic and slowly. The blue display compliment the color. Overall, I am very pleased with my Samsung dryer.Overall, I am very pleased with my Samsung dryer. It’s been over a year since I’ve owned it, and not a hitch. I own the matching washer too, uuso far so good. I really enjoy the Samsung household appliances. So much that I’ve gone ahead and also bought a Samsung range, microwave and refrigerator!!

The dryer works well, has a lot of nice features - especially wrinkle prevent - so that I don't have to empty the dryer immediately when it finishes the cycle. However, the sole problem I encountered and would critique was that the lint screen is tough to clean because it is hard to get your fingers in the location to remove the lint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a duplex and our washer and dryer are in the center of the house so we have roughly a 30 foot vent tube from our dryer to the outside. It’s a hassle to keep clean and very difficult to do since its so long. As soon as I heard about these heat pump dryers I just had to give one a try! These are definitely very sophisticated systems, but it works very well! At first I was skeptical that it would double my drying time and things like that. But I was definitely proven wrong! Installation is a breeze, you hook up the power cable, run a drain tube (optional) and you are pretty much good to go! Just make sure you have the drain line running out of the right hose or you will have quite a wet mess on your floor (as we found out). The operation is just as simple and easy as any regular dryer. There are many different settings from normal, to bedding, to towels and things like that. I found that with everything except towels this dryer works just as fast or faster as a regular dryer. Towels used to take a little over an hour to dry in our old dryer, in this one it takes about an hour and a half or maybe a little longer. That’s totally fine with me if I save money on energy costs and don’t have to clean out a 30 foot tube filled with dryer lint twice a year! There is a little bit more maintenance you have to do on this compared to a standard dryer. The lint trap is a little more complicated (and I’m not sure why) There is an outer and inner filter that has to be cleaned. You also need to vacuum out the coils maybe once a month or so (which onlt takes a couple minutes) There is also a slide out water tank that you have to empty after every couple loads (unless you have a drain line hooked up). overall, this is a great dryer, and I’m glad we decided to give it a try. If you are on the fence, I can tell you that it does work, and works very well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dryer was received and installed with no issues. The design is modern and stylish. I like the way the dial and buttons are setup, simplistic and easy to read. The built in setting are good, all of them can be customized if needed to suit one's specific needs. I personally use the normal setting for general washing and for a deeper cleaning I use the heavy duty cycle. The light is subtle yet bright enough to illuminate what's inside. Cleaning out the filter is a breeze, take it out, pop it open, clean, close, put back in, done. Samsung has really gotten good with the appliances and I can only wait for the next time I have to upgrade, which won't be for a while as these will last a good long time.

probably the worst washer and dryer i could have bought. it has the most shrill system sounds that play with every dial or click. it literally plays a 5 second jingle everytime you turn it on/off, or it times out. the best part, it can’t be turned off according to the samsung reps. though it is smart app capable, it wont go into wifi mode or pair. not worth the extra price tag.
