UNFORTUNATELY, this matteress is way to firm. I have had it for a couple of months now and my shoulders and hands hurt all the time since i got it. my hands go numb and the only thing i can narrow it down to, is the matteress is too firm. i want to return it, but sams club manager said no because its not wrapped anymore. how am i going to use a bed in a box if i cant unwrap it. i would like to hear from Serta on this to see what i can do. it was really expensive to buy this thing.

I tried this out at our local SAMS and ordered it online right after I left. Took about a week to arrive which I was fine with. It’s a good firm mattress and doesn’t have that “stuck” feeling. There is a slight odor when you first unroll it and it sticks around for a while. The packaging was a little disappointing due to the fact that the box was ripped in a few spots and had a light pink oily fluid on the plastic wrapping. Other than that it’s good mattress for the price and I would recommend this if you want something more on the firm side.

We bought this mattress 5 months ago. For the 1st 2 weeks, we could not sleep due to the gas odor. We thought by airing it out, it would go away. It is still extremely bad after all this time. The odor gives us headaches and congestion every night. It is too expensive to throw away, but I am concerned it is dangerous to sleep on. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone. Sam’s certainly should not be selling this mattress.

This gel/memory foam mattress is like sleeping on a 2x4. It has, at the most, 1/2 inch give to it. It is so uncomfortable. This will be going back as soon as we order another one. We have had memory foam mattresses in the past, and they were plush and supported your joints. This one is just way too firm. If firm is what you are looking for... this is the one for you...

Our new mattress arrived yesterday. It was easier than we expected to set up. We slept on it just five hours after removing it from the packing materials and placing it on the bed. No odor that we noticed, and very comfortable. I would describe it as firm with a soft surface. We are very pleased.

I love my mattress. As soon as I felt this mattress in the store I knew my search for the perfect mattress was over. I had to order online and eight days later it was delivered to my porch. It was easy to handle and open. It expanded quickly. Yes I recommend this mattresses. It is the right mix of gel and memory foam. I want my Night gel back, this mattress is horrible. I only got it because I wanted it with the adjustable base and wanted the white glove service. The base is firm but I rarely ever adjust it. The mattress is horrendous I should have bought the base separately and stayed with the Night gel which is what I had before. Trust me, stay away.

I inherited the original tempurpedic foam mattresses and loved it. I recently moved and left it behind (EXTREMELY HEAVY). I needed a new bed that wouldn’t break the bank! I purchased this mattress in a box and am so glad I did! I had done research and couldn’t afford the thousands for a comparible type bed and finally decided on this one. I am so glad I did! I will look for this type hands down for any other mattress purchase!

I?d like to think that I?m a smart shopper. I thoroughly investigate the products I purchase by looking at reviews on the website and on YouTube and other sources and hope I?m making a good purchase. I bought the mattress and got it home and it was really easy to assemble. But oh man, this mattress is like sleeping on bricks. Firm is not the word it?s more like extra firm. It was so bad that I had to sleep on the couch as I just couldn?t endure the back and hip pain. I hate to return anything to the store because I try to make things work but this mattress is a no go. No more mattresses in a box for me.

I tried out the 10" Gel memory foam in the store and it felt pretty comfortable so i figured i'd get the 12" I read this was a medium firm... it was like sleeping on a mat from gym call in high school. I found a mattress i like.... I am a plush mattress user for sure. I gave it a full week to let the foam get it's shape. Box came with no paperwork of any kind... But, found out on the net it can take 24-48 hours for the mattress to gain it's full shape. Waited a full week... after one night it wasn't gonna work for me. Wish Sam's had this in store to try before buying but, the return was super easy so... that part was good.
