A little dissapointed with this product. It does not have the carry handle like in the picture and was rated for over 300 pounds. Also no paper towel holder as the picture shows. The true Cosco one (black and yellow in color) is more money but very sturdy and has all the ammenitys mentioned. This said it did but it doesnt.. So I am a bit dissapointed with the product.Over all a good ladder for older people..

Cosco Three Step Max Steel Work Platform I purchased this step ladder not knowing what to expect. I am amazed at how well it's built. It's much bigger than I thought. It has a safety latch which made me feel very comfortable standing on it. So far, I'm very satisfied with it. It's definitely worth the price even though I paid a little bit more. When you step on it, you will say, this is heavy duty and secure. I'm happy I was able to purchase it online. When it's folded, it's as tall as an ironing board and as wide too. I think it's probably wider than an ironing board. The steps are huge too, my feet fit perfectly. Take it out of the box, read the safety instructions and that's it. There's nothing to put together. I hope my review will help you make a decision about buying it. You will not be sorry. Thanks Walmart.

product itself is very useful and steady with extra large service tray at the top which is great for sotring tools and hardware needed for job without having to go up and down the steps to retrieve different tools and hardware once in place. I would recommend selecting item from store stock, as item was shipped and damaged upon arrival, thus causing trip to the store anyway.

I waited for this ladder to be shipped before painting a room. I'm glad I did. It's very sturdy, the wide steps are comfortable to stand on, it can be easily moved, and has the tray. These ladders are much more expensive elsewhere. Great deal for the money. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I chose this ladder for its wide, stable steps and the tray, but it has so much more to offer. Not shown or mentioned in the description is info about the handy tray. There are holes to hang brushes. There are depressions sized for gallons and quarts to hold the cans steady. There is a rim around it to keep things from falling. The hand grips are non-slip. The feet are wide and have built in grips. I am just over 5' tall and can reach the ceiling when on the third step. This was intelligently designed and very reasonably priced for the quality of this product. The only thing I think would improve it would be to have the support between the back legs raised up a few inches so it rests on the feet instead of a bar when the surface is a bit uneven. I would definitely recommend this ladder if you have a need for this size.

As one other review pointed out, this ladder does not come with the paper towel holder. The paper towel holder is listed in the items description. That being said, if you really don't care about getting the paper towel holder then this is a great buy on this ladder where it would sell for about $60 elsewhere but with the paper towel holder included. Very sturdy! Great general purpose ladder.

I found this ladder in southern California and bought it to use at my son's house in 2010. I liked it so much that this year, I ordered two for my house to replace my older three-step ladder. 1. It won't pinch your fingers between the tray and the handle when you fold it for storage (which its predecessor did). 2. The utility tray is big, deep, and wide enough to hold the new plastic paint trays that I like, but that won't fit on a conventional step ladder tray. The hooks on the paint tray slide over the inside of the utility tray which is deep enough to keep the paint tray very stable. 3. It has a one-hand release of the locking mechanism instead of a hand on each side bracket like the old ladder (which could also pinch fingers). 4. It is safe for a 225 pound person which makes it feel very solid for anyone under 200 pounds. 5. Even in the kitchen, where I didn't think I cared about the utility tray, I discovered that I love having an easy-to-reach place to stash whatever-I-just-got-down-from-the-top-shelf while I get off the ladder safely. When I went back to my son's house this year and used his again, I had to fight to get it away from his friends since we all preferred it to the other three-step ladder that he bought earlier. I love this ladder!

I don't do heights! Normally, a standard two-step stepstool gives me the whim-whams. Unfortunately, I've got a 120-gallon marine fish tank that's 24" tall and 24" deep sitting on a 32" tall stand...and I'm only 5'6". Needless to say, I needed something uber-sturdy and tall enough to enable me to reach all corners of the tank. The Cosco 3-Step Max Platform Ladder couldn't be more perfect if I'd designed it myself! It's totally stable, even on carpet; light as a feather; opens and closes quickly and easily; the top hand rail and oversized steps provide total security; the top platform means I can have supplies and equipment at my fingertips rather than having to be up and down the ladder like a yo-yo; and the price can't be beat. What's not to love?!!!?

I had been looking for a stepladder to aid in removing lots of wallpaper. I already had a 6 ft stepladder, which was too big and awkward, and a small step stool, which was too short and frail. I first bought a 4 ft stepladder at a home improvement store, but quickly returned it after realizing how clumsy and flimsy it felt to climb and stand on...NOT want I was looking for. That's when I remembered a work platform-type stepladder I used to have years ago, and how much I liked it. After failing to find the right stepladder at stores, I went online and did some research. I was delighted to find this Cosco 3-Step Max Platform Ladder on walmart.com, especially since the price was so inexpensive. I ordered it and have now been using it for the past couple of weeks, removing lots of wallpaper. Verdict: I couldn't be happier with it! It has the wide steps and top platform step, which makes it SO easy to stand on for long periods of time; plus the top utility tray is great for holding supplies. And if needed, there is the hand-grip bar at the very top, to grab for balance or stability. Another cool feature is the "one-hand fold and lock release" handle. It makes it a cinch for even me, a small woman, to fold up the ladder. I LOVE using this platform stepladder. If you're needing a stable stepladder which is very comfortable and convenient to use, this one will not disappoint!

Nice, solid 3 step ladder. Not too heavy and easy to maneuver for the size. Very stable with the solid crossbar at the bottom and the wider feet at the base of the steps. The delivery was faster than depicted on the Walmart site and it shipped directly from the manufacturer in Indiana.
