I had been looking for a stepladder to aid in removing lots of wallpaper. I already had a 6 ft stepladder, which was too big and awkward, and a small step stool, which was too short and frail. I first bought a 4 ft stepladder at a home improvement store, but quickly returned it after realizing how clumsy and flimsy it felt to climb and stand on...NOT want I was looking for. That's when I remembered a work platform-type stepladder I used to have years ago, and how much I liked it. After failing to find the right stepladder at stores, I went online and did some research. I was delighted to find this Cosco 3-Step Max Platform Ladder on walmart.com, especially since the price was so inexpensive. I ordered it and have now been using it for the past couple of weeks, removing lots of wallpaper. Verdict: I couldn't be happier with it! It has the wide steps and top platform step, which makes it SO easy to stand on for long periods of time; plus the top utility tray is great for holding supplies. And if needed, there is the hand-grip bar at the very top, to grab for balance or stability. Another cool feature is the "one-hand fold and lock release" handle. It makes it a cinch for even me, a small woman, to fold up the ladder. I LOVE using this platform stepladder. If you're needing a stable stepladder which is very comfortable and convenient to use, this one will not disappoint!

I chose this ladder because of the wide steps and the top shelf that holds tools. I had an old one that I left at my daughters house and decided to take a chance and purchase another one. I am glad I did. This ladder is very stable, sturdy and brings me closer to the ceiling than my old one. It is easy to fold and when it folds it is very compact.

Love this ladder. Sturdy, stable, not too heavy, well designed. We love the wide steps which help keep feet from getting tired and sore. The shelf is well designed for gallon and quart paint cans and holding tools. The surface is easy to clean, even after paint has dried on. A terrific ladder for household use.

I purchased this to use as a stable platform for photography. It has a solid feel, wide stable steps, and a gear platform at the top. For the price, it's a steal. Other stepladders with good wide steps are $150 or more. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

As a short person I decided to try this step ladder. Once you go to the third step their is nothing to hold on to. If this handle was 12-14" taller you could utilize all the steps safely. Should tell Cosco to reengineer that handle

This stool is perfect. Big feet, big treads, and handle high enough to use. Sturdy and comfortable to use for a person with physical limitations. Love it.

This is a very nice ladder I like the safety bar to hold on to while climbing Very stable an easy to carry around Also large tray at the top to put anything as tools or paint ect. Very nice ladder

this ladder is light and easy for me to move, and small and easy to store, and sturdy so i am confident standing on it, and tall enough for a five foot person to reach every light fixture in our house.

I have not used it as yet,but I am very pleased with the structure. I am 75 yrs. old and needed something safe to climb on for curtains and cleaning fan blades.

This is the handiest ladder! It is not so heavy that I can't handle it. It is very well constructed and easy to move and use. The handy tray at the top holds your curtains, paint cleaning tools. I love it. Every woman needs one.
