Sent to a relative out of state  & she loved it!

Surprisingly delicious!!! I assumed it would taste like brown sugar but it has a minimal taste.

I bought this item as a substitute for Sam's Organic sugar which apparently isn't carried anymore.  Unfortunately we could not tolerate the burnt taste and by the time you put enough product in your coffee to sweeten it the coffee changes consistency and tastes terrible.  It tastes like the coconut shells were just ground up and put in a bag.  I'm sorry that I'm saying this but you're supposed to be honest.  I bought two bags online, had to return one and dump other in our compost bin.  Perhaps it's an acquired taste?
