I use coconut sugar to replace most sugar in my recipes. Still sugar, but a healthier version. Substitute for equal amounts of white sugar.

Great product and a much better option of sugar for diabetics that are not wanting to eat fake sweeteners.

Coconut sugar is not as sweet as white sugar and it adds a toasted hint to your food. It does not taste at all like coconut. Love it for baked goods.

I've used this sugar for about three years. I find it replaces most other sugars in receipts. Being low on the glycemic index helps us avoid blood sugar issues. We don't notice any taste difference from regular sugar.

I bought this item as a substitute for Sam's Organic sugar which apparently isn't carried anymore. Unfortunately we could not tolerate the burnt taste and by the time you put enough product in your coffee to sweeten it the coffee changes consistency and tastes terrible. It tastes like the coconut shells were just ground up and put in a bag. I'm sorry that I'm saying this but you're supposed to be honest. I bought two bags online, had to return one and dump other in our compost bin. Perhaps it's an acquired taste?
