It does not taste like coconut and it is not very sweet. I absolutely love this sugar.

Sams quit carrying this in house but I’m so glad I can get it on line.

love thats its natural, but strong flavor. only for baking. also a dark brown color. use for darker cakes with darker icing.

I use this instead of regular sugar to keep my blood sugar levels at bay. It tastes good and is a great substitute for sugar!

Really like this stuff! Tastes like sugar but is low glycemic. It is sweet enough that I normally use less than a recipe calls for and the recipe turns out just fine.

Could be a good substitute for Sugar but is not the same flavor. I used it in my coffee and left a coconut bitter flavor after taste. Definitely a different type of taste. Starts sweet but then the coconut flavor lingers at the end. Something I didn't expect. Although, of course, is made from coconut.

I have not opened this brand yet... but will tell you, being diabetic, it is nice having a sugar that is not as bad as cane sugar. The glycemic load has this so much better for body.... also it has a bit of a brown sugar taste... but not strongly.... I use it in anything I want to curb the bad sugar and it is a great product. Just haven't opened this brand as of yet... but Sam's always sells brands that are comparable to widely acceptable brands in all categories...so I have no qualms on this product...
