Quite firm upon delivery, outgassing quite strong nearly 3 weeks later. Though the mattress softened up nicely after about 2 weeks and is now very comfortable! I am an average temperature sleeper and live in Massachusetts, I do not feel like this mattress makes me hot at night. Overall pleased.

Changed my very old but hardly used queen-size firm mattress and decided to reward myself with a tempur pedic. The experience with the retail store wasn't the best, having to have the mattress changed 4 different times due to wrong mattress delivery. I purchased the king size (split) medium hybrid pro adapt but they delivered the soft mattress by mistake the first time. Tried it for 2 nights and didn't like it. They picked up the soft mattress only to deliver a medium mattress. Again, tried it for a month (per the store's recommendation), but returned it after a month and they finally delivered the correct mattress after 2 1/2 months. It took me almost a week before I truly appreciated the mattress. At first, I found it hard to move and change positions, and also still found the mattress a little firm to my liking. It all changed after a week or so. Waking up in the morning has been less painful with no struggles, and no muscle and/or back pains. I love that the mattress have some kind of cooling effect. Choosing the medium-hybrid was the right decision. I enjoy the versatility of the base and its special features. The only thing I didnt particularly like was how the sheets get out of place every time I use the incline/decline positions of the base. I fixed the problem by buying suspenders :).

We read the reviews and know experience a truly amazing sleep. Our Tempur-pedic mattress is extremely nicer than anything we have slept on. Husband is a touch on the heavier side for 5'10" & I am average sized 5'4" in our 40's. We bought the Pro-Adapt Medium/Hybrid King size & love how we don't feel the other toss/turn or get up at night. The convenience of zip off top cover to keep is hypoallergenic made this an easier decision. We hope this brings us many years of comfort & joy : if you know what I mean.

The ProAdapt Soft is a great mattress for side sleepers. It offers soft compliance yet enough support that I remain comfortable all night. The cooling technology also works great. I combined this mattress with an adjustable bed frame and now have the best sleep "system" that I ever had! Highly recommend you consider this mattress!

Your 2022 mattress is much thinner than my previous 2012 mattress and not as heavy-so it's easier to make my bed. However, I find the new 2022 mattress does shift and must push it back into place on your adjustable bed frame. Also, your queen size mattress did have a petroleum like off gassing smell for almost 2 weeks, which I wasn't happy about. Since that smell is now gone, I love the mattress and fall asleep easily (sometimes too easily) on my new soft mattress as it's very comfortable. I also love the fact I do not have to download an App to use my wireless remote. Thank you for keeping it simple and easy to use! I also have your queen size pillow which I use under my legs for additional back support. All in all, I am a happy Tempurpedic customer.

I am a previous owner of a Tempurpedic mattress for 25 years. It was time to upgrade to a new one, so I purchased a Tempur-ProAdapt Medium mattress together with their ProSmart bed base 10 months ago from the Tempurpedic website. The mattress is somewhat comparable to my 25-year-old Tempurpedic mattress but took some time to get use to how much lighter the mattress is and the dimensions of it. Which brings me to this review. I thought a buyer should know that the measurements of the mattresses sold are not 60 x 80. My mattress is 58 X 78 (2 whole inches less) than a typical standard queen size mattress. Their website does have a caveat stating the sizes are approximate, but the two-inch difference in size does cause issues with my fitted bottom sheets bunching nightly because they do not fit tightly on the mattress. I then bought sheets from the Tempurpedic website because they supposedly were designed for their beds and have straps on them to keep them in place but unfortunately, they also bunch up. I mistakenly bought three sets from Tempuredic thinking they would work better for their mattresses, but they do not. In fact, after opening up and using just one set, the other two are sitting in my linen closet unopened. I absolutely love their smart base and highly recommend it. Overall, the Pro-Adapt mattress took some getting used to it since it is built differently from the one I bought 25 years ago, but I still wouldn't trade it for a traditional mattress. The bunching of the bottom sheet during the night is a real nuisance though.

We originally purchased a Tempur-Pedic with a 20 year warranty. After 14 years the mattress sagged. It was replaced in 2020 with a ProAdapt hybrid. I recently started waking up with lower back pain and I noticed the mattress was starting to sag causing my lower back pain. Just 3 years old and starting to sag! I am not happy with Tempur-pedic at all. Now I'm in the market for a new mattress. Unfortunately, I will not be seeking another Tempur-pedic.

I was a big advocate of Tempur Pedic until now. I bought an advantage firm mattress 9 years ago. I loved it until it began to severely sag over the past year. They have a 10 year full replacement warranty. Warranty department said they will cover it but want to replace it with a medium support and if I want a firm support they will charge me $1700.00 for an upgrade. I don't want an upgrade I want firm replaced with firm. That is all I want. The difference between the mattress they approved(adapt medium) and the pro adapt firm is $800.00 retail. I offered to pay that but they refuse. They want $1700.00. This is not a warranty at all. The mattress they approved is not the most like my mattress because it is not firm. When I explain that to customer service they are very rude. So very disappointing.

This bed has made it possible to get some pain free sleep. I have insomnia and have slowly but surely started to gain more hours of sleep. I thank God on Saturday mornings now when I can sleep in and raise my head with the adjustable frame , wake up slowly, watch TV and listen to my pool waterfall with my legs elevated and back up. I am blessed.

This bed was a very hard lump when it first arrived but has softened up a lot in the past month. I am happy that it came with a return policy because I am honestly not sure if I will be keeping it. I think I prefer more pillow top and soft. This bed does nothing to relieve back pain and actually seems to be causing back pain if I sleep on my back. I recently had a better night sleep on a hotel mattress that was really nothing special. I am not sure this bed was worth all the money.
