It does taste like chocolate kind of like almond milk chocolate with a bit of a pasty taste. Its 200 calories for 32g of protein which is not bad at all! Id recommend if you only drink plant based protein shakes!

Just bought these for the first time. I have a tree nut and lactose intolerance so I've been searching for a protein drink free of all the things that make my stomach hurt. I'm pleasantly surprised. Not the best tasting protein drink I've ever tried, but not bad considering what's in it.

It doesn’t have a chalky texture like some protein shakes and it’s actually quite smooth so I’m guessing the contents mix well when shaken. It also isn’t overly sweet. I kept him full til lunch so he’s happy with it. He did note he didn’t like the flavor much but that is probably more of a personal preference thing. He’d definitely like to try other flavors though.

This one tastes pretty good, though (chocolate flavored). The nutritional content is excellent. It has a high protein to calorie ratio and no cholesterol. Excellent protein shake.
