Definitely needs to be cold or on ice to be enjoyed. I like the consistency, not too think. I appreciate that it’s plant based but the fake sweet taste always hits my tongue first.

When I first tasted this, I didn’t like it. But, I had already bought it and I was going to drink it. Because it had such a thick texture, I put a little water in the bottle, swished it around and poured into my glass of Owyn. Because it was not sweet at all (which is exactly what I wanted….no sugar), I added a packet of Stevia. Just one packet made all the difference.Then, I stuck it in the freezer for a little while to get it really cold. It tasted so good! Now, that’s pretty much all I drink. No sugar, plant-based, 32 grams protein and a huge glass because of the added water, I have nothing but good to say about this protein drink.

Only What You Need is the best protein shake I’ve ever had and I’ve try many. It so good I order a case of 15 every week or two. Because I drink one every 5 to 7 hours. Highly recommend for grab and go meal replacements snacks and e tea Protein it’s delicious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I drank this cold when I was on my way out the door. It’s handy and ready to go. I got chocolate and it is dairy free with zero sugar. I’m impressed with the taste as it wasn’t grainy but it still wasn’t as thick as a chocolate milk. I love the convenience and ease of a portable meal. It has 32g of protein.

I bought these initially to see if I liked the flavor, as I don’t typically care for chocolate. I’m not a regular protein drinker but due to the high protein and low sugar content I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give them a try. I was very surprised with the initial taste, after taste (there isn’t one thank goodness) and the texture. I take one with me if I miss breakfast or I want to supplement a small lunch and ensure I get enough protein in. I just finished my first box, and already put an order in for four more boxes. I feel confident letting my toddler sneak sips and don’t feel guilty for drinking something that tastes this good because I know it’s good for me.

When I opened it the protein drink was so thick I couldn't get it to come out of the carton without squeezing it. It was horrible. If I could have returned it I would have. I drink protein drinks everyday and have never had one with the consistency of Owyn. I don't know if it was bad or what. I won't be opening another one. I wouldn't suggest anyone buy this. It was absolutely disgusting. I bought it to try it but regret it.
