You definitely get a chocolaty taste, as well. I prefer to put this in my morning coffee to add flavor and sweetness rather than using a creamed and sugar. It's a good portion, as well, filling enough to last a little while, but it won't be a full meal replacement ( at least not for me) overall I recommend this as a protein drink over a lot of other brands.
