[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first second or 2 in your mouth nice rich chocolate then a sharp artificial sweetener hits your taste buds. Then a nasty taste fills your mouth. I definitely don't like this and i will not buy this nutrition drink ever.

The chocolate flavor wasn't bad, but did leave a bit of an aftertaste. Definitely has a very decent amount of protein to it so that's a huge plus, and I'm a fan of chocolate and even better when healthy so overall I love shakes as a fill in if needed. Definitely convenient protein for on the go and in-between meals. Packaging is absolutely convenient if on the go and not drinking in one sitting. Overall if you are on the go this is super convenient and would appear to help give you needed protein and for me that helps keep my blood sugars stable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the clean ingredients in this product. The chocolate taste was very good. However, it left a chalky aftertaste while drinking. After drinking the entire container it left a film on my tongue. It did keep me full like a meal which is a huge plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Husband tried the Owyn Pro-Elite Chocolate Protein Shake and it was alright. When compared to other protein shakes on the market, it falls short. The taste wasn't that good. Was it HORRIBLE? No. But there are definitely better choices out there. It definitely tastes like artificial chocolate. As far as protein to calories ratio go, it's pretty good. For 32g of protein and 200 calories, that was pretty standard. It kept hubby full for the rest of his shift but as I mentioned, there wasn't anything too special about it.

This is the only plant based protein shake that I’ve seen with this much protein. 32grams is a ton! There is a little bit of an aftertaste, but I think it’s from the monk fruit. It isn’t that strong so I didn’t mind it.

I wish it was in a plastic bottle instead of the carton but that’s fine. Very versatile shake can be used in smoothies etc.

In good conscience I cannot recommend OWYN Pro Elite plant Protein Chocolate Shake as it just tastes awful. I couldn’t get through the container. Did not even taste chocolatey - if that was the goal. The mouth texture was thin and filmy. Not only did it have a poor taste but it also had a sugar substitute after taste. The icky taste stays with you. There are so many better products out there.
