It came at perfect timing, as I had jaw surgery not too long ago and protein shakes are perfect for supplementing caloric needs. This option in particular is okay. I would say good for plant-based. The amount of protein is great. 200 calories is better than some other options. The taste however is not my favorite. Nor is the thickness. Does make for a good milkshake additive though!

I ultimately mix it with a shot of espresso and turn it into a protein iced coffee. This is now, part of my post workout routine. I tried it before.I mixed it in with the espresso just to see what it tasted like, and I have to say, it does not have a protein aftertaste like a lot of protein shakes do. I've tried other brands of plant protein and a lot of them leave a weird aftertaste, but this one did not do that. Overall I would highly recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OWYN Chocolate Protein Shake is plant-based, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan. It comes in a small TetraPak packaging and is the perfect size for a packed lunch or breakfast. It’s not the most delicious drink, but does taste like a decent chocolate milk. There is no strange aftertaste. I drank the drink after breakfast and didn’t notice it giving me more energy, but I do have to say I also did not get tired around lunch. All in all, it’s an ok protein drink and while I wouldn’t add it to my daily routine, I wouldn’t mind buying it occasionally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I drink protein shakes every day, and I train and eat very healthy, this protein has too many calories it’s very high in fat, so to me is not an option, the flavor is a little bit weird, it has a very thick consistency, personally, I didn't like it, but for vegans who don't mind a high-fat diet, it's a good option since it is easily digested.

It’s a bit sweeter than I would prefer, but I just don’t like things that are too sweet. Other than that, it doesn’t taste chalky or like some other protein drinks.

I drank the whole chocolate drink in like a minute. It says you can add to other stuff. Love that it's dairy-free, plant based, zero net carbs, gluten free the list goes on. I'm not normally a fan of protein drinks but this one I could easily see myself purchasing and actually drinking!!!

In good conscience I cannot recommend OWYN Pro Elite plant Protein Chocolate Shake as it just tastes awful. I couldn’t get through the container. Did not even taste chocolatey - if that was the goal. The mouth texture was thin and filmy. Not only did it have a poor taste but it also had a sugar substitute after taste. The icky taste stays with you. There are so many better products out there.
