Overall I really enjoyed this ready to drink shake. I've tried a decent amount of no sugar protein drinks and typically they tend to make them too sweet with either monk fruit or stevia. With OWYN I thought it had a really good sweetness level and the chocolate flavor was really tasty. The formula itself had a really good thick and creamy texture. I thought it was a pretty good size for a shake. I plan on picking this one up occasionally because it's more convenient then buying a powder and trying to get it lol mixed up. I like that it's self stable before opening as well so it'll be easy to keep a few in the pantry.

I like that it doesn’t feel flimsy or overly bulky. Ingredient wise, this is where it earns points for me. Being dairy free matters because whey doesn’t always sit right with my stomach. I do have to eat and drink low sugar to zero sugar so this was perfect for me and the chocolate flavor makes it even better. I use this instead of coffee creamer when I put it in my iced coffee and it tastes very good.

However, I have consumed many different brands/flavors etc. and it’s not the worst that I have tasted but it is far from average tolerance in taste. Yes it claims to be dairy free, zero sugar, and 32g in protein but a downside in my opinion is it is plant based and contains a lot of seed protein and seed oils. If plant based is what you are looking for then give it a try. The chocolate tastes how I would think chocolate water would taste without any sweetness. The consistency is about the same as well. It is not thick but looks like what you can buy at the store that’s labeled as chocolate drink instead of chocolate milk.

However, this one was not terribly bad overall. I did like the fact that it was chocolate and a chocolate lover. I was hoping it would have more of a sweeter taste instead of a chalky like taste. It was not terribly bad, even when refrigerated and put over ice, but I still could not get past this one fact. Overall, it wasn’t a really bad item, but I wish they would try to take away some of the not 100% chocolate tasting in my opinion. It did have a fair scent, and I did not like how it seemed to have to be shook up even sitting out for two or three minutes.
