I've tried may energy/protein products and taste is usually a secondary objective - this was particularly dreadful. Chocolate flavor was only token to the chalky main flavor and bitter after-taste. Texture was far thicker than is pleasant, like a super thick shake. Overall I'd pass on these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the consistency of this protein drink. It's thick and smooth- similar to a melted milkshake. I didn't feel the chocolate was very strong in this drink and it had an odd flavor to me. It doesn't not contain fish but it was fishy to me. The more I tasted the more pea flavor I got. It's made with pea protein and that is apparent. I like peas and pea soup so I don't mind it, but I am not vegan so I'd prefer the flavor of milk based products. If you are vegan or have food allergies this is a decent option to get protein in, as a breakfast on the go, or post work out! It is not that sweet or chocolatey and it is not chalky at all. Personally I don't love it and probably wouldn't purchase, but if you are in the categories above this product is made for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yum! This OWYN Pro Elite Plant Protein Shake is really tasty! It's not chalky tasting and it doesnt leave a gross taste in your mouth. The chocolate is yummy! Love that this has zero sugar and its also dairy free!! 😋 Having no artificial sweeteners and 32g protein per shake, this ranks up there with the best shakes I've tried! The packaging for this is a nice size too! Overall, this is a really great protein shake and I would highly recommend trying if you are using shakes in your diet! I will for sure be purchasing more!

While it does still taste like a protein shake, there isn’t any chalky aftertaste. It’s smooth, and the chocolate flavor is nice. I saw someone mention that they use it instead of coffee creamer, and I need to say THANK YOU! It’s now my favorite way to add extra protein to my morning :)

I felt nothing after I drank it. The after taste was so bad I had to run and wash my mouth out. Potency and purity just wasn't there for me.

This is a great size to toss in my bag, but it tastes a little bit chalky to me. The chocolate flavor is rich but I do feel like the texture is what throws me. I would try again and would try the other flavors!

It came at perfect timing, as I had jaw surgery not too long ago and protein shakes are perfect for supplementing caloric needs. This option in particular is okay. I would say good for plant-based. The amount of protein is great. 200 calories is better than some other options. The taste however is not my favorite. Nor is the thickness. Does make for a good milkshake additive though!

It seems to be the “cleanest” of the protein drinks as far as ingredients, and that is one of the most important considerations for me. It tastes good, maybe not the absolute greatest, but it is very good. I like the protein count of 32g, and I have never had an issue with digestibility. This is a product that I will continue to buy as long as I need to supplement my daily protein. When I'm trying to cut calories I have this for breakfast and sip on it, after my morning workout, and throughout the morning. Vanilla is my favorite but they are all pretty good. It's thicker and tastes so much better than the Orgain vanilla bean shake that I also bought. 35 g of Protein and 230 cals. They have a lower cal & lower protein option that I haven't tried yet. I originally bought this because the Yuka app suggested the brand.
