[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first reaction to this product was that the ingredients were decent when compared to others and the protein to calorie ratio was nice. The texture was very similar to chocolate milk if not a little watery. I did find the aftertaste to be a little chalky, which is expected, but it was also insanely sweet. If that’s your thing then this would be perfect for you.

The chocolate flavor is smooth without being overly sweet and it keeps me full for hours. I like that it is dairy free and easy on my stomach while still packing a lot of protein. It feels clean and satisfying after a workout or when I need something quick. Overall a solid choice if you want a simple plant based protein drink.

The taste was ok. But the aftertaste was awful. I did not feel any different after drinking no increase in energy but it could just be my body. I gave a 3 because there are people out there looking for wholesome ingredients and others may love it. But I just can’t get past aftertaste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, this Owyn protein shake is not for me. I was truly excited to try it as the nutrition was excellent. A nice amount of protein and sugar-free, but I can't get past the taste. It's overly sweet with the artificial sweetner taste. As someone who only uses artificial sweeter and not actual sugar, I'm used to these types of flavors, but this is just way to overdone, like they are covering something else so you can't taste it. It's also overly thick and doesn't have a good mouth feel. I would not repurchase these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of all the protein shakes I've tried, this is my favorite. Plant based, smooth texture (not chalky, gritty, or grainy). I live that it has veggies in it, but you don't taste it. It tastes like a regular chocolate shake. I have one every time I work out to get in some extra protein. It's a great treat!

I wanted a protein drink to boost my energy during the day but didn't want the artifical ingredients found in the other brands that i looked at. So tried the chocolate OWYN shakes. First and lasting impression is that it's too sweet and kind of yucky. But I can make it drinkable by mixing it with milk and coffee. It helps to curb my appetite for junk food but I can't drink it straight. I don't know if I will buy it again. I have most of a case left to drink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a variety of reasons, I have been trying to increase my protein intake. I was happy to try the OWYN Pro Elite plant protein shake. And of course, chocolate is always going to be my go to flavor! This small bottle contains 32 g of dairy free protein, and zero sugar! The bottle claims it contains only what you need which seems to be the case. It does include 100% plant-based protein, all essential amino acids, 3 g of prebiotic fiber, and on and on! It contains no dairy or gluten, no peanuts or tree nuts, no soy or eggs, no fish or shellfish, and no artificial colors or flavors! So that’s pretty impressive! The taste is rich and chocolatey, I would not necessarily know this was dairy free. There is a slight aftertaste, as with any protein I have ever tried. It is slightly metallic, but it is not overwhelming and not really unpleasant. All in all the benefits outweigh the tiny aftertaste. I’m a fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems like an incredibly wonderful idea. 32g of protein for 200 calories beats the 10 g per 100 calories rule. Dairy free and gluten free. Though, for those that are allergic, it does contain stevia. I wish that was better advertised instead of in fine print on the back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the worst “protein shake” type product I have ever had. It was disgusting. I don’t even know what else to say. I couldn’t choke it down if I tried. My husband posed for this photo without actually tasting it, but after we both tried it we agreed it was a throwaway. Its texture reminded me of chalk, kind of like milk of magnesia. I guess it’s good for people with specific diets. But if you don’t have diet restrictions don’t waste your money on this.
