We live in a small town farming community. We have had high winds, fire and snow storms that have disrupted our power. The power company is usually pretty prompt getting service back on. The longest we have been without power in the last couple of years is about 9 hours. My husband is now on fully time oxygen and relies on power to run his concentrator. The generator is a safety net but most of all peace of mind for my husband.

Spring Generator did an excellent job installing our 22kw whole house Generac generator. We were pleased with their company. However, when they first started the generator, the engine malfunctioned and blew a hole in the case blowing out the oil. The unit had to be removed and taken back to the shop. Generac took a few weeks to supply another engine to Spring Generator so they could re-assemble it. It is working fine now but will need to watch over time.

Had been in the process to get a 22KW installed and then Ida hit. Power went out Sunday evening about 5:30 on 8/29. We were running the house on a 17.5 KW portable Generac but getting fuel had become an issue. Our dealer texted me the following Thursday AM about 6:30 and asked if we were still without power. I replied yes and they showed up a couple of hours later to install the unit. 5 hours later we were up and running. Everything went well until Sat AM when the unit shut down. I went to check it and the enclosure was full of oil that had leaked out of somewhere. I refilled it and got it running but it continued loosing oil. We got power back on Sunday evening. Unit now goes into over start shut down. Dealer came and did the first service but the unit still will not start and run. We suspect it has a bad circuit board so am waiting on that so we can get it started to find out where the oil is coming from. We suspect it is a rear seal since oil is coming from the exhaust end. Service tech also noted metal shavings in the oil. Bottom line is we are still without standby protection.

Quality built product. The automatic start up and electrical switching is a smooth and painless process. Quiet operation. It performed perfectly in sub zero temps with the cold weather package. The green light is an easy check to verify that the unit is ready for operation. ..

Had it installed last month and although we haven't had to use it yet, and hope we don't, it's been doing it's exercise every week and reporting to our phones as expected. We live in a rural area so power outages are likely to be lengthy if they occur. Nothing like peace of mind with this unit.

Yesterday I signed my contract through Generator Supercenter for a Generac 22KW Guardian Home Generator. Their representative, Jason, was very knowledgeable in Generac products, and was able to answer all of my questions. I truly look forward to having peace of mind in the event of a power outage.

Installation was completed a week ago just ahead of a heavy wet snowfall. We wondered if we would be protected if the power failed and woke the next morning to hear the motor humming along. Power was lost during the night but the generator never missed a beat powering up immediately and giving us a welcome sound. Peace of mind is worth the investment.

I lost an entire finished basement due to a power outage. Called for an installation the following week. They finish today tested it and now finally!!! I can go back on vacations and not have to worry about losing power anymore. Thank you Generac for making a quality generator. I can sleep well at night thank you Ron

After last winter storm that left us cold and dark for several days we put a generator to the top of our home improvement list. Being old enough to know better we dismissed portable models that would have required frequent fueling and many extension cords. A semi-permanent model with manual start and transfer switch would work but again, as we get older the trips out side and to the basement could be hazardous, particularly in the dark. We decided on a "whole house" automatic model. Generac repeatedly came up as a popular option. Researching products I found they had been in this business for many years and had developed a scalable design with a range of power output. Reliability of a mature design is very good and was a high mark for us. There are several local dealers so service and repair is assured. The generator unit has high quality fit and finish, no tangle of canbles or ill fitting panels. The sound level during self test mode is less than my neighbors lawnmower. Suffice to say we are sleeping easier knowing the lights and heat ( or cool in Summer) will stay on.

Bought the generator two years ago and up until yesterday it had only run the bi-weekly test run and a short two hour outage. With hurricane Ian we lost power on Sept. 28th at 8:29pm and its still out as of the 29th at 9:58. Thank goodness we have the geny. Running everything in the house with exception of the stove, my choice, without issue.
