We are extremely satisfied with our our GENERAC 14KW GUARDIAN stand by generator. Living on Cape Cod where we are proned to Nor Easters, Blizzards and Hurricanes. It is a relief to know we will not have to worry about loss of electricity. Especially because my husband travels a lot, I now will not be dependent on others to start our portable GENERAC generator. I will now be donating our portable generator to Habitat for Humanity. Also a big shout out to Robies (Hyannis, Ma.) for their professionalism, promptness and expertise installing our generator. I will definitely recommend GENERAC to all.

Our unit was put into service today. It tested out perfectly, and handled both of our home’s AC units running at the same time without flinching. Having this asset will be a great stress reducer during hurricane season and when Texas gets its occasional strong winter cold spell.

The SPS team was amazing, from start to finish. I did my research before choosing the type of generator and company to do the install and support. I made the decision to go with Generac and SPS after talking to 4 other companies. I am a single homeowner and trust in the product and the company is paramount. I have had the system installed for less than 3 weeks and it's already been used twice. Power goes out quite a bit in my area and I also travel so knowing the system will work and that I am notified of each action the generator takes. I would recommend this product to anyone and the Specialized Power Services company to do the install!

Nice looking unit. Noisier than I though it would be. Install took longer than it should have due to installer showing up with out necessary parts on a Friday and then had to wait till the following Monday to finish. Once installed unit fired up promptly and the "simulated" power outage had the unit start and within a few seconds the house had power. Obviously won't know how well it really works until an actual emergency and hopefully it works as promised. Wi-Fi set up SUCKs big time. NONE of the provided booklets explain it properly. Finally found a manual on-line (by Generac) that explained it. Why wasn't this manual provided with the paperwork? Wi-Fi still doesn't work and I'm not entirely sure why? Weak signal probably. Unit also a USB capability to update firmware but again NO manual explaining how that might work.

We bought this unit after several frustrating power outages and we couldn't be happier. Our electrician is one of their distributors. So he was able to install it for us and get it up and running in half a day. It is pretty quiet, considering how big it is, and we can run most of our house with it. So far we only had to use it once for about 10 minutes, but it worked flawlessly. We highly recommend Generac!

We installed this product, waiting for final startup. The generator has a 100 amp breaker yet is sold as a 22kw whole house backup. Granted that we probably don't peak over 100 amps very often but I was not clear that the product was limiting itself.

Having to listen to our neighbors generator kick on immediately after our neighborhood has power lost and knowing they are sitting in their home comfortably (with their a/c running) while we are left with no electric, no a/c (in Florida) we finally decided to get our automatic standby generator installed. Best. Decision. Ever! The process from beginning to end was effortless. We purchased our Generac generator from Holly Electric (Donald and Crystal were awesome!) and they handled everything! The installers Jason II, Eli, and Johnny were professional and friendly and not only installed our generator but cleaned up after themselves including making sure the generator was wiped down free of handprints (Thanks Jason!) a small gesture that showed me he takes pride in his work! I now have peace of mind especially when it comes to the possibility of power loss during hurricane season.

We did a lot of research on standby generators and decided on the Generac 22kw. At first, we weren't so sure Generac was the brand for us. There had been a number of complaints. Our dealer explained that early on the Evolution control board was failing. But the issue was resolved. We took him on his word and glad we did. Four days after it was installed, the Seattle area was hammered with over a foot of snow and power went out. Generator kicked on and stayed on for the next 10 hours. Power was restored for around 3 hours and went back out. Generator kicked on and ran for another 12 hours. We rely on a pump grinder to discharge sewage. Without power, we get 10 flushes from our toilet. Wife demands that system work! So far, Generac has made us a believer. We live on a island and the other thing that sold us was parts are plentiful. Not so much with other brands. The free mobile link is nice but highly limited. To get full use of its features you have to pay a monthly fee. We highly recommend this generator.

We had been researching stand-by generators for our home for the past two years and received two quotes from Generac Dealers in our area. The quotes were comprehensive and thoroughly explained. The dealer we chose completed the installation on time and as promised with quality workmanship from a 3 person crew. We are exceedingly happy with our choice of product, its performance to date and most particularly with our choice of dealer and the support they have provided. We would highly recommend this product and in particular Miskow Generators & Electric.

Just had it installed today 5/15/18 and very impressed with the way it's constructed the contractor was honest and professional he accidentally delivered the wrong size generator which was a 22kw which he originally recommended a 16kw but he said 22kw is better but it cost more but he worked it out where the monthly terms would be the same I would just be paying 4 months longer after the 36 month term,He explained how everything worked.
