We eat a lot of hummus, using it in place of mayo on sandwiches, wraps and tuna salad. We usually either have this or the red pepper hummus from Sam’s in the fridge. Amazing for the money! You can buy a container half the size or less for the same price in the regular grocery store. Flavor is mild and creamy.

As someone from the Middle East, I know what authentic hummus is supposed to taste like. This hummus used to be one of my go-to option, but the recent recipe change is disappointing. It now has an overpowering lemon flavor and a more liquid texture, which makes it taste more like tahini, something we usually drizzle over shawarma or falafel, not hummus. This isn’t the rich, balanced spread it once was. Please consider bringing back the original recipe! When I’m in a pinch, I blend a can of pre-cooked chickpeas with a little salt and mix it into this hummus just to make it somewhat decent. It helps mellow out the strong lemon flavor and brings back a bit of the traditional hummus texture and taste.

This is terrific Hummus. I actually prefer it to many or most of the retail brands. It is a plus to be able to purchase it with discount pricing.

I love the humus that I love but I do not love all humus. Sabra is my favorite so if you enjoy Sabra .. this is a humus you will love!
