Greetings! It’s completely understandable to feel frustrated when something doesn’t meet expectations. Let us help out. You are correct that this Samsung refrigerator model is a standard-depth unit, with a depth of 33 1/2 inches with the door (28 15/16 inches without the door). As a result, the refrigerator will protrude about 6 inches beyond your countertop, which allows for a decent amount of storage space. I’ve included a Samsung support link below that addresses ice dispenser concerns. While the guide focuses on cases where ice is not dispensing, the troubleshooting steps are also relevant to your situation. The page contains helpful hyperlinks for further assistance, and we recommend watching the embedded video in full.
