Well packaged. Arrived undamaged and ready to work. Only minor complaint is the nuts welded to frame for installing the mounting feet weren't aligned perfectly with the holes. Snapped one of these nuts off tightening the bolt and ended up using a separate nut and lock washer. Had to slightly file down the other holes to prevent the other nuts from snapping off.

After losing power too many times from storms decided to get a generator. After doing some research, this generator had more features for less money compared to other brands. Had an electrician hook this up with a transfer switch and propane and no more issues. Powerful enough for our little cabin in the north woods to run A/C, refrigerator and everything else with no problems. Some of the best money I have ever spent.

Bought this unit to work with generlink transfer system for standby power for our home. Packaged very well. Added oil. A bit of gas . After put on wheels and legs. Remote started. Fired up in about 5 seconds. Ran perfect. I was very pleased that it has a tool.kit and funnel for oil. Best was no damage or missing parts. And not made in china

I was looking for a generator that ran on both propane and gas and was powerful enough to run my whole house included central air if need be. This baby does it all. The item arrived when scheduled and was a breeze to set up. Opened the box and all I need to do was put on the wheels, add the included oil, and connect the included propane hose. Done in 10 minutes and the generator started right up. I had an electrician hook up the 50 amp inlet box that connected to my house main panel using an interlock system. Added gas to the tank, started up the generator, shut off my main breaker, plugged in the 50 amp cord, turned on the generator breaker, and wow...powered the whole house and was able to run the a/c. Very impressed with the generator and it's ease of use. I would highly recommend! Why did I wait so long?

I purchased this unit after reading popular mechanics and educating myself about different types of generators. Losing power for a week from Helene taught me a lot about what I need out of a generator. I had an electrician install an interlock switch and a 50 amp inlet box so I can use my existing breaker panel to choose circuits I need to run during an outage, such as the well pump. The instructions for the generator are easy to follow and the unit fired right up on propane. I like the ability to run on a propane and gasoline, although propane is my preferred fuel due to it running cleaner and storing better. My break in period is complete, and now I'm ready for the next outage!

I just received the generator this morning. I connected it to a tank of propane, connected the battery and it started right up. I used both the remote control and the push to start button. It has a pull cord but I haven't tried that yet. It also comes with a charger to keep the battery ready to go.

I have double the ways of using the generator, propane which will be my preference and gasoline as my back up. Finding gas during a hurricane is hard and real time consuming. Having a remote to turn it on, makes me feel more safe while turning it on from afar. Would be nice if you can provide a tent to use when it rains at a good price.

This generator is chock full of features-including a trickle charger, ability to run on propane or gasoline, has 30 and 50 amp outlets, auto chock, remote start and more. Plus, in my opinion, it is much quieter than my previous portable generator. My electrician installed an manual interlock system and we tested it out. Started my central air-28,500 BTUs with now problem. Also, started and ran my 50 gal. water heater with AC running-though he didn't recommend doing that due to energy usage concerns. He was very impressed with this generator's handling as we put it thru it's "paces" in turning breakers on and off. I hope I don't have to use it for a power outage, but I'm in Florida and this is supposed to be a really active hurricane season...so I have the peace of mind of knowing that I'm prepared- kind of like an insurance policy I hope Also, I have read about how hard it is to connect the 50amp cord to the outlet on the generator due to its proximity to the top of the wheel. Yes, I did need to use a little effort to get the cord to bend enough at the top of the wheel to allow for me to plug it in properly but I don't feel it took that much effort but I know it could be different for others. The one thing I am concerned about is that it's not supposed to be used in the rain. I wish that Westinghouse had an inexpensive way of housing the generator outside to protect it from the elements. However, I may have found a solution on YouTube for a DIY shelter...so we'll see. Regardless, my first impression, and I will only use the propane, is that this is a really substantial generator.

I recently took delivery of my new Westinghouse dual fuel WGen9500. I completed the initial assembly, and ran the unit for the one (1) hour initial break-in period. The machine ran flawlessly on both propane and gasoline. I am very pleased with the power capabilities of this product and look forward to it serving our storm related backup power requirements for our Florida home for years to come.
