Just purchased and received 6/9/23. Very courteous delivery personnel. Great directions made setup easy in about 20 minutes. Added oil, added gas, connected battery , and generator fired right up with no issues. I did have to add more oil than supplied to achieve full mark - oil level measured with cap screwed out and dipstick inserted. The 20’ cable I purchased to hook generator into my fuse box fit perfectly and no issues with wheel interference.

I bought this product based on the Westinghouse name and am not disappointed. It was delivered to my door as promised at the scheduled delivery time and date. Included was everything required to service and assemble, propane attachment regulator, a tool packet, the require engine oil, and a funnel for filling the oil. I am not disappointed with the quality of this portable generator, it exceeded my expectations.

Easy assembly, started right up on unleaded. Bought as a backup home generator, ran for 2 hours no load and no issues so far. Seems like great quality. I would suggest running for 4-5 hours under load and then changing the oil to a higher quality full synthetic motor oil. I may be paranoid, but I don't trust the generic conventional oil that was sent with it.

First, I have to complement the easy to read manual with all the proper setup instructions and maintenance manual. This product is boxed without the wheels attached and was easy to assemble those few parts. Rolls smoothly. This will be most important to me as part of my hurricane supplies, & great that it is dual fuel as these resources can be very hard to find just before or after a disaster. I also like that the outlets have rubber weather covers on them especially fir outlets that will not be in use.

I haven't even run this enough to encompass the 5 hour break-in period yet. But I'll tell you what I have found, so far. The instructions are incomplete. I'm still looking for the "eco mode" switch that isn't supposed to be "on" during break-in. The instructions discuss the switch but don't tell you how to turn it off. Also, it would be great if the instructions gave you an idea as to how much oil needs to be added....ya know - 1/2 qt or 6 quarts? Instead, you have to pour a couple tablespoons in and check the level,......repeat infinite times. BTW...mine took an entire quart. If you plan to operate this generator above 5000 feet in elevation, you need an additional part for your carburetor or you may damage the engine, according to the instructions. That part has to be ordered at an additional cost to the owner. Maybe it would be a good idea to just throw one in the box, in the future? Other than that, the unit seems fairly solid. Not a fan of the cheap plastic wheels but maybe they'll be OK? After I found the gas shut-off switch, the unit started right up. It is a bit loud but not any worse than comparable units, maybe even a bit quieter. The LED display for the "Data Center" is a joke. It has to be almost totally dark to view any of the display. I had mine in the garage, with the door open, and was not able to tell if the Data Center even worked. I had to close all the doors and turn off the lights to see the display. BTW....don't operate this unit in a closed up room! The main downside to this unit is it is VERY heavy. 200+ pounds. More than most individuals can handle by themselves. But I hope it will give me a lifetime of untroubled service. I guess we'll see.

Assembly and installation were easy. Convenient dual fuel feature allows for flexibility during power outages. The remote start capability is convenient during inclement weather. Wish the battery charging cable was a little longer, but that doesn't affect the operation of the unit.

I researched just about every portable, dual fuel, generator on the market and for what you get for the price, you just can’t beat this thing. The minor details, such as the included batter charger, the battery charger port on the front panel, the remote start, metal fuel tank, covers on the outlets, and so much more. It cranked up and ran great, the first time I cranked it up. The remote was already paired, I was running my entire home without it even missing a beat.

As a female this was my first generator out of the box and after following the easy instruction manual it started with the push of the remote. Thank you, thank you for making it easy that it took me only 15 mins. ---I got the DF power; Westinghouse Power. Firing it up in Palm Bay the Westinghouse WG9500DF!!!

I bought this as an upgrade to an older generator that served its purpose. A coworker has the same generator and had nothing but good things to say about it. I got this Westinghouse generator in preparation for the upcoming hurricane season, so hopefully I won’t need it, but I know it will up to the task.

I looked long and hard for the features I wanted in a portable I could use for the house. Was very happy to get dual fuel. Disappointed that I could not find one in this size with an inverter, but that seems the case with all models this size. So far I just tested it once with the electrician, and it started right up.
