Just bought this generator. It fired right up the first time I pulled the cord, even though it was very cold outside. Then we used it to run a large sander and the power never faded in and out like with some generators. Very powerful and so far reliable!

Arrived with damaged packaging and dents to control panel and generator cover on end. Removed cover inspected for damage to wires and repaired cover Added oil and fresh gas to generator. Opened gas valve, several attempts to start were unsuccessful. Started up after a shot of starting fluid and ran without any problems for 1 hour. Shut down and changed oil for rest of break in period. Packaging could be much better, will update after rest of break in and if I receive the generator cover as advertised in the paper work included with product for doing this review.

Bought our first one (7500) 2-1/2 years ago and since we are not on the grid yet, we use it 4-6 hours a day. Bought the Duel Fuel since we’ll have propane soon, so this is getting a workout like the first one. Do the maintenance like they recommend and this will be a workhorse!!! I expect this one to run just as the first one did, it has so far.

I bought a Westinghouse generator a few weeks ago and luckily haven't had to use it....yet. It has an easy way to quick start it. I also love that it uses propane but can use gasoline as a back up. It should also not require a lot of maintenance. I have a transfer switch that is outside my house but with the big wheels I can easily roll it into the garage when not in use.

This generator is so much easier to start by using either the electric start button or remote control. It is also provides so much more flexibility with the ability to use both gas and propane. Although heavy like all generators this size, it is fairly easy to move with the large handle and solid plastic wheels. Would definitely recommend the WGen9500DF for powering the whole house during a power outage having just tested its capabilities by turning off the main breaker and implementing the interlock switch.

I'm very happy with this purchase. I have used it twice so far and its has powered everything we needed. I like the dual fuel option. Its somewhat noisy but I knew that from other reviews. I had a small issue with the automatic choke, and the customer support was great and help straighten out. Great performance and support at a reasonable price.

Generator ordered 8/21, arrived 8/24. Box was a little torn at the corner but did not affect the generator that was well protected. I have not yet started it up since we still have some electrical to do. Will update this review if I encounter any problems.

The unit arrived in great condition with no damage. Assembled it using instructions with no problems. Added the supplied oil. Added gas and it started right up using the key fob. Tried the panel start button as well as the pull cord. All worked. Attached multiple power tools to the outlets and everything worked fine. No problem with the load. Have not tried the 220v output yet as I have no tools that use it. I did measure the 220v output and it was alive. I attached a propane cylinder to it and it started right up with that. Everything appears to work fine, just as advertised. Good product!

Picked up from the store, took it home, assembled quickly, hooked up a propane bottle and hit the remote. Fired right up!! Even forgot to choke it, but it fired right up. The only downside is, I had to go buy a quart of oil to top it off, no big deal. The oil that came with it is not quite enough.

I bought this generation after a power outage recently. The generator appears well built and is extremely easy to operate and start. The push start and included fob is great which my wife really likes. I compared several other bands and settled on the 9500 Westing house based on features and price.
